Volt is a better game though solely because there's online multiplayer. I always have someone to play Bluetooth multiplayer with though, so it doesn't really affect me. I've never been one to play fighting games solo. That's just me. Love the KoF series, though. iSuyash Active Member Nov 16, 2011 32 0 0 #7 iSuyash, Mar 27, 2012 i've been waiting for Street Fighters IV Volt to go on sale. how is this game compared to that? apart from the lack of online multiplayer. thanks smegly Well-Known Member Mar 27, 2012 990 0 0 NY, NY #8 smegly, Mar 27, 2012 Meanwhile I've heard nothing but bad things about Volt's online multiplayer anyway. Terrible lag and ragequitting, apparently. I know it's the cool thing to poo-poo people playing fighting games single player, but my experience in multiplayer fighting games (not online) has either been me destroying my friends by timing and reflex or I fight someone really good and they just insta-win with some infinite combo they memorized. I think AI usually approximates a middle ground to that well enough. I mean, if someone's going to play a game for a 15 minute session, why not play single player KOF, assuming you're a series fan? Seems like it's the abstract notion of "no, that's for two people" that's the barrier there. Gunlock Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2010 472 0 16 #9 Gunlock, Mar 27, 2012 I have both KoF and SF4 (never bought Volt because Im not very interested in online mp, and I will not pay twice just to have it + Bluetooth multi is just fine for me). I have to say that KoF is way more fun than SF4. Fighting pace, great butter-smooth animations, fantastic combos just feel much better for me. I bought the game when it was on sale for $4.99 and never regretted it. Three bucks is really a steal. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
