Iori(original)=Cody style in street fighter,
Kura = Sakura + viper style in street fighter.
Daimon = zhangief + viper(earthquake) style in street fighter.

Wifi is working great; played online for the past 2 hours and there was ZERO lag. Gameplay is much faster than Volt, there are SO many fighters and backgrounds it's almost overwhelming. The 3-on-3 team matches until the last one stands are awesome. Controls are tight, combos are sweet. This game rocks.

Now.. will they please release Samurai Showdown wifi for the iOS?

 

It keeps statistics of your fights too, so you can see the overall history of matches and percentage of wins/losses with each opponent. You can finally determine who is truly the King of Fighters among your friends.

wish this game was universal and looked better on iPad but besides that its great. I'm loving the new roster and modes and wifi is working awesome. all in all a great game with just one blaring negative, not retina/universal.

 

Wow, online play is really smooth. I shant be getting much done for awhile.

 

Agreed, the net code seems to be smoother than Volt.

 

I bought this late last night, haven't had much time to play it but I'm enjoying it. I wish it was Universal with Retina optimization but even without it, it's a great game. I played KOF way back in the day on the Neo Geo when I worked in a video store in the early 90's. I haven't played in many years though, so I'm totally new to this.

Wifi was mostly smooth but I have lost a few matches lol. What are the advantages of the 2 IAP special player versions? Who are the the favorite players?

I am training the hell out of Hwa right now...really liking his style in contrast to Joes. He has some killer combos, a 3x multi-direction arial EX, a DRUNK MODE...

Fun character to use, really like his arials. I wonder what the effects of drunk mode are...i guess its a damage buff.

 

Don't think backgrounds move just like first game

This game seems like its sub 30 fps. Is that how it is on consoles? There's just something about the framerate that bugs me.

Is this better than SFvolt? Looks extremely stylish and fluid with gameplay but I'm just trying to make sure before I make the purchase.

Haven't played any KOF game since The Neo Geo console in the early 90's, so can someone please tell me which characters are tops for Wifi mode? Any standouts and why?
