I know this are old. Just thought of sharing the bunch of combo videos i have seen for KOF-i. By far the first one is just freaking amazing. Everytime i watch it i just cant stop drooling.
Thanks to that video i found the 1k Duolon combo Starts with Corner and CH Fb, J.k, Cl.k, fp, ex rekka 2 hits, Cl.k, HD, J.k, air fk, Cl.k, 3x (fp, rekka 2 hits), rekka last hit, f tele, ex super, Neo Max 1008 damage The thing is its really hard to cancel to Neo Max on the Last hit of ex super
There's some impressive stuff in those videos. Now I want to make a KoF CMV, but I'm still working on Volt's :/
Thumbs up at those combos you and Yadier posted! Yeah, they did the damage scaling like SF4 did which sucks, but in a way, it makes it so that if you're doing longer combos, you're really styling on people. EDIT: Good call bringing those combo vids back!
Is Kula the only character that can throw you mid combo? Or do stun property move open the possibility to a throw?
I think so. The rest of the moves that crumple don't recover fast enough to go for a normal throw. When the opponent is dizzy you can go for a normal throw.
Almost all combos from the "Combos KOF-i 2012" video go well beyond 5 bars (training mode only combos). Other than that, the other videos are quite cool and definetely learned lots of things from them. I didn't know EX Iori could combo into EX Kototsuki In like cl.C xx fP, HD, cl.C xx fP xx Rekka (two hits) xx EX FB, DP (two hits) xx Rekka (two hits) xx DP (one hit), EX Kototsuki In. However, the opponent can tech the knockdown and avoid the EX Kototsuki In.
Some combos have the possibility of building an extra power bar in the proccess, like takuma and duolon. THOUGH.... on single player you have some special actions that help you build more meter, some of those combos are single player only vs the CPU. Most of the combos are possible though. Edit: and the infinites of course build infinite meter
I know. I meant this one. Even with the single player special actions you wouldn't be able to do those combos.

I don't know what happened. I was playing endless and the opponent was Duolon, I messed up a combo and got cl.C into EX FB (doesn't combo) and I don't know what the f happened but then not only Duolon got stuck due to EX Iori's EX FB but also Iori!! In a grab animation frame (without the flame effects). Until the effects on Duolon disappeared I couldn't move nor perform any moves. It didn't play any tech grab animation or anything though, just started moving again.
So I started playing this again and people still play like turds 3 characters to choose and you play all 3 zoning keep away?? That can't be fun. To each his own. Anybody have anti Ryo tactics? I can't beat Ryo standing kick - fireball pressure.
