forgot to mention im NA region also does anyone know how to fight against terry his crack shoot seems to have no recovery and acts as a godly anti air too
Yeah me too. Got your request! Crack Shoot is Terry's only really good special IMO. I usually try to play long range against him because of it. It's hard to punish even on block, but I think if you AA at the right time you can beat it. Not 100% on that though. You may want to hit up training mode and check out your characters' AA's Vs CS.
my normal lineup is elisabeth k' and shen only k' has has a dp and tbh k's dp is pretty bad no invulnerable frames and tiny hotizontal range beside, using dp to counter a special on reaction is a bad idea. if he uses S normal then cancel into crackshoot i'd dp too early and miss and he gets full punish else if i wait for crack shoot to come out before i dp i'll already be in block stun and a GCA would come out instead so far the only solution to crackshoot seems to be long range instant command grabs (daimon/raiden) all other specials are either too slow/requires gauge/not enough range/gets beaten if he follows up a normal i guess terry counters my lineup
I'm looking forward to playing you especially cuz I'm interested to see what you do with Elisabeth. I've messed around with her but couldn't ever really get the hang of her. Terry's actually a pretty crappy character in KoFXIII. Part of why he's bad is because his damage output isn't that great, and his specials are usually too dangerous to really use reliably. So if you eat a couple Crack Shoots, I don't think it's the end of the world. Playing the ranged game still seems like the best option to me. How do you GCA in this game? Is it ->+S when in blockstun? If so I guess my timing's just a bit off as I never seem to be able to get it to come out.
i'm not the best elisabeth though i have a few tricks u wont see coming :> i find elisabeth best at playing mind games instead of full aggression and trading normals its not just crack shoot im annoyed with its the fact that he can end a block string with crack shoot and pressure with it if terry only spams crackshoot then its pretty predictable but its the fact that crackshoot shuts down hop ins and you're forced to play defensively that annoys me GCA is done by pressing S when in block stun, it costs 1 power gauge so not always worth it
Good games Type Avenger! I was sitting there to myself saying "F*ckin' Shen!" Hahaa! There were a couple times I thought I had it in my pocket and then you unleashed the fury that is Shen's HD/Max combo. xD I'd have kept playing but the lag was too much towards the end. Your K is fantastic! I was eating combos left and right! I actually used to use him in KoF '99 and after seeing you tear it up with him, maybe I'll start messing around with him again. I've never played an Elisabeth player so I have nothing to compare it to, but you're right about the mind games thing. There were several times (especially with Ralf) that I was just hitting a button and praying you'd try to attack because I didn't know what you were gonna do. I'll hit you up later, maybe we can play a few more.
good games for sure i think i'm bad at dealing with projectiles XD your robert made me want to play him again shen is the only one i can do HD combos with when there's lag lol dropping elisabeth and iori HD combos due to lag was so frustrating definitely looking forward to more games
I don't know if you have this issue or if it's just me, but sometimes the characters that win me matches against some folks are my detriment against others. There are times when I feel like my Robert is just a punching bag and other times where he's integral to getting the W. Same with King. A couple of the matches we played, you just obliterated King, who is usually the one people have trouble against, and I was like, "Shit." xD Projectiles in this game took me a little while to learn to deal with. Sometimes it's best just to block and let them throw the plasma, especially if you have a life lead. I don't usually use HD combos, so when I hit that one yesterday, I was pretty pleased with myself haha! I usually tend to save my meter for Supers and Cancels. I might have to revisit that though. But yes, I'm definitely looking forward to playing you again! Do you have anyone in particular that you normally play against, or do you usually just hit up Ranked?
i feel that some characters naturally deal better against others for example projectile pressure type characters (king/kensou/athena) shits on close range characters (iori/ryo/shen) was also because i deciphered your playstyle on the second-third game if you ask me i'd say you need to be alot less predictable good fights though

how do I upload my replay videos to youtube? I've noticed that some of the youtube videos of kof i-2012 look like a screen recording, how do I get my replay videos on youtube? Do I need to jailbreak my phone?
i looked into that aswell seems like the only way to record screen is to jailbreak and download custom app
