Well, well, well lookie here. If it isn't mansbag510. Welcome to the forums! Already posted my opinion on "Guy with Angry Face". Not playing him anymore. This game needs to be renamed to King of Fighters 2012 Kula and Athena Edition: Guest Starring Other People. People are scared to branch out for some reason. It's too many of the same teams now with Kyo, Iori, Athena, and Kula.
I know that's right. Good to see SNKP is making bank on NESTS Kyo and Flames Iori lol! But yeah it's disappointing that there isn't more character variety, but I suppose it's to be expected. I'm looking forward to getting to a point where I can beast Athena and not freak when I see them at the Vs screen.
Athena = Akuma They spam fireballs, uppercuts, run to opposite corners, and Super when you jump in. Nonetheless, a pattern that you have to figure out. Some get clever but I use a lot of empty hops to bait out uppercut/super. Not easy when her damn super last ten minutes! Not to mention her reflect move beats some supers. Argh
Totally agree with your statements. Though I find that you have to fight fire with fire. I love putting my Kensou against her. If you see patterns remember them and then come in careful with pokes and combos. I have only seen like 2 or 3 players that play her beautifully, everybody else ( in my opinion) are easy to beat. I also enjoy fighting good Daimons.

Well, it's a month old so people are figuring things out by now. If they keep playing things will probably change (although I was really hoping we'd have a lot of the players from here to help dissect the game like we did with Volt.) People complained about the abundance of Shoto players in Volt though, especially when it was new.
I got my ass kicked SO BAD last night, first by Mansbag, and then this other guy who has a card with a heart on it as his username. He demolished my whole team with his first character, which was Vice. Good LORD I was raging lol! I like this game but I'm so bad at it and I'm not improving fast enough for my own tastes, but isn't that always the way? ;-P
Don't feel too bad Docta, I'm in the same boat! This game isn't newb friendly. Tons to learn from mechanics to match ups. hell learning 3 chars at a time isn't easy just have fun with it. My problem is im new to the series and stubborn on dropping Chin he's just too much fun!
Just play the damn thing! Once you get past the newb hurdle it's a lot of fun Even if some characters have insane recoveries.

GGs, and thanks. I left because I was getting frustrated and that's causing me to do risky, and unnecessary things, and that's not good. Gotta take a break from it for a min. I don't mind fighting, but I know my limits. I don't know what you mean by Kensou's dm lol.

No sweat. You were my most exciting matches today. I meant kensou's super/ultra or special or dm. His big psycho ball comes out when you want the tickle super or vice versa. Anyways. Let me know if you ever want to do casuals.
Lol, tickle super. I like it. I find it awkward that if your projectile is on screen you cant do your projectile super
Hi Its one of the most addictive game I have ever played. I have been playing this game for 4 years. I love playing it with my friends. Its never easy to beat your friends in this virtual world. I really enjoyed playing it.
Right. For example: you can cancel takuma's fire ball into his big fireball super. (quite a useful combo when playing mind games) but you can't do that with Kensou <<unless>>the first psycho ball manages to land on your opponent and you are almost next to your adversary. He would be an even better carachter if he could do that from afar.
Ggs. Yeah I just couldnt suss out his strategy, everything just happened too fast. Sometimes this game feels like Marvel in that it moves really fast and if you make one mistake, it's over, especially against the right player. I kind of wish the pace were still fast but they toned down the TOD combo aspect. I mean, the older KoF games weren't really like that were they? I never played them on a high enough level to know for sure. But yeah check out Volt, though after playing KoF it'll probably seem slow and the characters are a lot less mobile. I played a few matches the other night and playing KoF definitely makes the game a bit easier to me.
