Sorry. I don't know what this means. Lol. I'm trying to use Kim but he is sorta weak. I like king so far. Need to learn a few others.
See when you.. Ah, forget it, I can't explain it. I'll just sit here and watch. I think Kim isn't that bad. We just have to figure him out.
Too bad classic Iori is DLC . Ahh w/e still debating whether to buy this or not since I have the original KOF-i-. So how is the multiplayer? And what is the uncompressed file size on the device?
The multiplayer is pretty good. When you go into a Ranked Match, it takes a min to find someone, but you can see the person's stats and the connection quality first, then you can choose whether to Accept the match or Decline it. So you choose who you want to face or not. I've had matches where it felt like they were next to me. You do get more characters, which makes sense since themes for teams like "Kim's Team" were there in the original KoF -i-, but none of the characters were. The multiplayer is the big selling point for this one and it works well. The uncompressed file size was posted up around the first few pages of this thread. I can't remember it, but Sanuku posted it up. It was over a GB though, so you may want to have at least like 2.5 GB free so you won't have problems like I did. If you enjoyed the first one, or just want a different fighting game to play against other people, I say go for it.
This is just plain mean regarding Leona : http://www.mmcafe.com/tiermaker/kof13/index.html#ya0-trjm2yn82xb74ni16j8l6ld64ne787pg5nlp8d506ole4mjv6jjs8d6p6mhw4ogb4rex32lr6ilg2xcb6jg86kah8c994o5pjycb8anb4ppj7fjm4pnl6ghy8cad6ke76jd32y9c2z7c4qb62y-bk6 ) Btw, i`m not sure if i can ask this here, but here it goes: for those that are familiar with iphone explorer, which data file keeps all my progress (unlocked things, money, records etc.) from the Documents folder in KoF? I lost all my data from the previous game (i had everything unlocked) and i don`t want it to happen again ! I`m asking this because the other games that i found necessary to back-up the save data (like MvC, Chaos Rings 2, SF V) only had one file, but this one has more and i don`t want to mess up :-?? Again, sorry if it`s not ethical to ask this question, but i gave it a try
Yeah you're right found it. It's 1.08 GB, so it's not TOO big. I better start clearing some space on my 8 GB iPod . Multiplayer seems too good to pass up so I'll be picking this up!
Hey there Haven't had much time this weekend but In a day or so, I will be able to get some training in. How is your game coming along?
This is the only problem with the game right now, not enough people playing so it takes a while to get matched up. Anyone who already has me added from Volt, send me an invite! Anyone else who wants to play, send me a GC friend request if you want to get some games in. On another note, how do some of the mechanics of this game compare to SF4? For example, are there moves with projectile invincibility? Do special moves/supers have invincibility frames on startup? etc...
Your best bet is to backup the entire Documents folder. The main save data file appears to be "savedata.dat" bu the other files in there are replay data, rival data, etc... While looking through the game files, I came across the entire gallery of unlockable illustrations. There's some really nice artwork in there. Some of those bosses look awesome, are they playable against though?
what i really like in sf4volt is that challenges are very good and show most useful combos and links, in this game is quite different. the combos are really complex and the timings and links are hard to learn. but the most important are the priorities of moves. is there maybe some site which has such info and data. honestly devs could do much better job with manual and combo training.
Good Games Vaceotyn! It's great to see you make a transition to KOF let's play more later as I have to do something else now.
Good games! I'm still pretty noob though, only have time on the weekends to play nowadays. Going with random characters until I find a team I'm comfortable with. Your Clark is pretty solid, I can see why you keep him as your last line of defense, he carries the weight of the team! Catch you later!
i believe the prize ranking system work based on how much time you play, not your win/lose rate. This hella suck, but the entire game is perfect. Be my friend and play for fun, win lost does not matter. I play a lot of chars but my main are Kim, Shen, and last one undecided. i rush alot though My Game center name is Fu_do_or_die ,live on West USA
Thanks Vaceotyn! I am still a noob too, trying to learn the basic combos for now. Your Mai was great too play you later.
Seems like I have to use Simple Moves to be sort of competitive. I'm dropping too much stuff to people just mashing out SP online and this V-Pad isn't doing a good job with keeping up.
there is no win/lose rank system? the prize rank system is based on how much you play, not how good you are. it's so hard to do series of hopping. Add me, Fu_do_or_die , play for fun.
The D-pad doesn't seem responsive enough. It's fine for dashing around but craps out when doing QCF moves which I need to link moves. I hope it's just my crappy thumb.
Sweet! If I'm ever out your way maybe we can play some offline Third Strike! The Koreans are beasts at this game! Thanks for adding me, let's play soon! True fact! That or a Guilty Gear iOS game would be amazing! Just added you (and you just accepted!) You're asking for advice on who to main aren't you? I'll have to send you a request soon. It's really disheartening that there seem to be so few players on our server. I hope Snk fixes that (if indeed that is true) in a future update. Supers in this game seem to get stuffed pretty easily so it seems best to combo into them most of the time rather than just doing them by themselves. And the Evade button almost makes projectiles less useful to a certain degree.
