Wow.. I must say I'm shocked. We finally get another fighter on iOS that makes use of WiFi rank play. We need to encourage more developers to copy suit. I gave up on the first one because I got bored of single campaign, this new game should temp me back. Just a big shame about not having support for the iPad and retina! as I prefer to game on my iPad now. One step forwards, two steps back...oh well. Just wished it had come out the same time as MVC2, in protest I would have spent my money on this instead... At least SNK are listening...can't say the same about CapCom. side note: Are the backgrounds animated or not? the trailer seems to show it is...
Can't wait to get home next week and purchase this app. Hearing a lot of great reviews (i.e. "definitely volt killer", "snk got it right this time", etc), I only wonder how terrific/horrific KoF deals with 'Rage-Quitting.' Glad to see the TA Volt community making the transition into KoF!
I am currently having some lag issue, many player I meet Having bad connection, but when I play on street fighter online is totally fine. What's going on? Does KOF gets really bad connection when vs outside country? Cause no one play KOF in New Zealand.
If player disconnect the modern. They won't lose any point. I get a lot of rage quiters, well I play kind of gay defensive style thou.
Arghhh lag. For those with lag free matches; Are you guys playing rank or with friends? Both? I can't figure out why it's laggy as hell. I know it's not ony end. Maybe just new game kinks. I don't know.
Could be matching at odd hours. Could be that you're fighting ppl predominantly in mexico or singapore or korea, where the KOF hotbeds are. Could that different versions are connection to different servers, like SF Volt was -- the japanese appstore connected to the japanese server, while others connected to a north america server.
Ah ok. I mainly play a few matches at 12 am eastern. I'm sure I'm connecting to Asia. This weekend I'll try different hours. How do I get that purple flame iori offline? Heh don't remember his name Is he overpowered? Seems popular online.
Just beat a guy call "Kaisayu", he got 95% of win rate, which is 200 win 13 lose. I lost him first game, he make the comment say:" I will teach you the ultimate punch". After that, i beat him 1 game, he put comment :" the miracle don't happen second time" then after that I beat him 4 times in a roll, so I put :"how was it?" and "piece of cake" lol. Some of the bastards just show off too much, I need to give them some lessons.
The trailer, or intro is misleading, the footage is pulled from either console or arcade as the framerates are smoother and has animated backgrounds,but nothing that's a deal breaker really.
Picked this up a couple days ago, and I'm itching to find some players to play against. Made an account just so I can get into this forum and talk about how amazing this version is (still practicing KOF13 on my xbox). But yeah, I'm still very very novice at this game, but I would love to play against some of you guys. My Game Center name is Agent/G hope to play with some of you.
The tutorial is very extensive, i'm probably the only person here that needs to go through it more than once.
