I was in the same situation there. No potions and about 10 tents. I was able to gain about 4 levels and beat the boss. Can't remember what level I was.

Took a break but I'm back at it now.

Whew! The pyramid was really difficult to navigate. I'm off to find some cool weapons.

Just finished Fork Tower. It worked out pretty well since I have two spellcaster jobs and two physical attackers. Omniscient gave me some trouble once his HP was low and he started casting Level 3 spells so I used Zeninage to take him out once he was down far enough. It's a physical attack but I found that if it's the last attack, it doesn't restart the battle. Reflect rings would have been nice to have.

Well I got all 12 weapons. Can't use most of them but I got 'em. Now I just need to find a good place to level grind before I jump in that black hole looking thing.

I had a hard time finding a fast place, so I went with an easy place. Take your submarine back to the cave in the northwest corner of the map and run around just outside the sub. The enemies are pretty nonthreatening.

What was your job set again? Maybe there will be a different option for you.

I did some grinding there earlier in the game. It's very convenient because you can just jump back in the sub to rest. I have most of my jobs maxed out on all characters so I don't need APB. I found a really good spot to grind for Gil but it gives almost no EXP.

So Crystal boss, the four in the tree, took me a massive amount of time before I could beat it.

That done, I played further and hasn't had any more big trouble. Now worlds are merged and I need to go after four tablets :)

Took me awhile too. Hard part was trying to kill them all at the same time so they didn't regenerate.

I'm still grinding...I love Auto Mode.

I just beat Exdeath at 31 hours. Took two tries with everyone at level 45. I died the first time when I used 2 Protect Rings and 2 Reflect rings and they didn't help much so I switched to 4 Hermes Sandals and just went for a blitz attack. I took out the first form pretty easy with Zeninage. Of course my Zerker just does what pleases him but I found that a Rune Axe with the Black Mage ability is very effective. I used falcon's strategy on the second form (thanks for that) and then Zeninage again. I had 30 Elixirs and only used 9 but they were essential for survival without a healer.

I enjoyed FF V more than I thought I would and I could see myself playing a normal game in the future so I can explore the other jobs. That should be a cake walk after this. Thanks for talking me into it Shaun!

Now have two tablets and working on the third one. Most bosses get crushed. But there was this one boss that just lived and lived, seemingly without taking or goving damage. Turns out that sword dance I did made him reset lol. Waste of 20 minutes :p

Congrats RHess. Glad I could help with the final boss a bit. I didn't know about the vulnerability of the left side before this run, and I'd played FFV several times. (Then again, I wasn't using a challenge format, so I would always just GilToss/Zeninage or summon the final boss to death.)

Beat it yay :D spent 43 hours I think and level 49 was the highest level. The last boss was troublesome, but I got tips and beat it after several tries. It was so much fun! Whenever I hear that music there in the end that has been in many FF's it feels so epic and wonderful, a true adventure. Fiesta was a blast, thanks Shaun!
