Hey Guys! The Juggles is a currently in development iOS and Android game with a focus on a simple game play and cartoon style. I wanted to ask you guys some questions and get some suggestions from you. We have recently been discussing the idea of having 2 different versions of the game available and were looking for some feedback on it. The first of which would be a free version of the game which would include in app purchases so if you wanted to buy some coins(the item we would sell as an in app purchase) you could, and then use those coins to buy some hats or other accessories for your juggles (the little furry creatures). The game features ways of obtaining coins while playing so you can still unlock costume pieces and what not without having to spend any money. And for people who dislike any kind of in app purchases, the second version would be a paid version of the game (probably 69p or 1.34p or the regional equivalent,) and because of the upfront cost of the game, it would bypass all the in app purchases and the cost of everything in the shop would be reduced so players can buy more items with their coins. What do you think of this marketing strategy? The idea behind it that if your the kind of person that enjoys free games then you can play for free, still earn coins to be able to get some vanity items and if you wanted to you could purchase some coins to but more vanity things! But If you hate in app purchases then you can pay the up front cost and enjoy significantly cheaper shop items so the coins you earn while playing will go further. Just so its clear, the game play itself would be exactly the same on both versions.
