WOW indeed. Spork completely blew my MIND! Seang, so close! Khamous, fast off the start with one right, but...
yes yes, that is totally better because of the clear lane, I saw it but I went the other way... o well, friday, same time, same bat channel
I think people will enjoy that someone different won this time, I on the other side, won't so much . And Spork, I hope you're already back on your raid lol
Cinnamon rolls! Yum! haffertee is baking some other prizes, it sounds like. Congrats to everyone who played today. Seems like the level of play here has definitely gone up a notch or two! The Thurseday Triple Twist is going up tomorrow at 10am EDT sharp. Check first post for full rules, and any questions. Prizes for the TTT: $25 iTunes for First Place, $15 iTunes for second. Please post any questions in thread or PM. Today's analysis: Position One Best Move: B6-C3 - Unblocks Red and blocks Blue. (total block switch) - Creates a completely open lane for a good run. - Takes control of lane 6 to allow Red's most vulnerable runner a chance to escape before it gets further blocked. Other Moves: B4-C3 - Unblocks both Red and Blue, blocks Blue. (partial block switch) - Doesn't allow for a run of more than 4. - Allows Blue to attack lane 6 with something like F4-D6. Position Two Best Move: H3-C4 - Unblocks Red and blocks Blue. (total block switch) - Good way to block Blue in open lane 4 - Red is behind in blocks, but ahead in the race. This move puts Red ahead in the block score. Other Moves: Either G4 or G6 - Does remove a runner - But Red is well ahead in the race, and neither of these runners is in any danger of being blocked, so no need to do these moves now. Thanks, everybody! Cheers, ~Doug
Where the hell was I tonight? Why can't I remember this contest??? Too bad, because I nailed both moves, though I still don't think I would have been able to submit them faster than Spork. Nice to see someone else win for a change. Gives the rest of us hope! 10 am will be tough, as I'll be as work. No telling whether I'll get a chance to log on and play. Oh, well, good luck to those who can.....
As Doug is offline I'll answer this one. YOu don't have to be here by 10am, you have until sunday to answer tomorrow's moves, 3 sets, harder than the rest, so pretty much it is made so you can take your time, and not hurry, and for everyone to be able to participate Just get here when you can, and remember, for tomorrow, you PM your answers, not post.
And you only get to send in ONE set of answers, and that's it. So take your time! And thanks for the congratulations all. It was intense. My heart was racing and I almost put off posting until after we did our next attempt at the boss, glad I didn't!
Thanks, Khamous. That's the whole idea. Plus, you only get *one guess* for all three positions. There will also be a second place prize (see first post); a drawing amongst everyone who submitted at least two out of three correct. If someone submits all three correct before the deadline of Sunday 3pm, I'll announce that there has been a First Place winner. But I won't be announcing who the First and Second Place winners are until Sunday at 3pm. If no one has gotten all three by then, it will be open-round, PM guessing for First Place. As many guesses as you want until someone gets it. Cheers, ~Doug

Have fun! POSITION ONE - Red to move with a six. POSITION TWO - Red to move with a six. POSITION THREE - Red to move with a five. Please do not post any Triple Twist moves in the thread! All move lists must be PM'd. Cheers, ~Doug
