Sweet! looks and sounds really cool. Didn't know there was an outside... im really stuck at one bit and cant kill a woman!
Head on over to The Infinity Project group and we can help you with beating her. http://forums.toucharcade.com/group.php?groupid=247 It will only pertain to The Infinity Project v1.0 v1.2. The Infinity Project v2.0 changes things.
Okay, thanks. I have asked on another forum before but no luck in actually beating her!! An idea for a future update, maybe have a 'skip level' button appear once a person has died 5 times on a level. Or the option to continue. Just a suggestion.
I think a better way to handle that is to automatically reduce the difficulty if someone dies a certain number of times... That said I've now beaten the updated games 4 or 5 times (at least), and there's really little of the "brute force" gameplay that you found in some of the levels of the original. Using the environment, choosing your weapons, and moving fast should be enough to beat pretty much every enemy in the game. Will you have to repeat a few levels? Sure: this ain't Gameloft . But it should be nowhere as frustrating as before, particular in "easy."
I bought this a while and didn't love it, but I am definitely putting it back on my ipod now....sweet!
I'm hoping that when the update comes out Ill be able to get some footage of some new levels/boss or whatever. This game deserves more attention.
This game looks really awesome! To tell you the truth, I've never even heard of it before, and only found it because I was just doing my usual TA forum browse to see what's new. I just bought it though, and I'm really looking forward to seeing this update in action! Great job on the game btw!! Keep up the great work!!
I always thought the player weapons looked a bit poor, you have done a rather good job at improving everything!
i just recorded something, but I want to check in with the developers before I post it here (it's from the beta, after all).
I just bought and played it, but found it very "meh", so I'll pretend I didn't play it and save a review for 2.0. Can't wait!
I got this game a WHILE ago based on promises of an amazing update, and I am so happy to see that the devs have delivered! Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for rewarding all of your customer's trust in your long promised update. I can't wait to finally play this game! I do have one minor question though. Because you have auto orientation on, the device has to constantly monitor the accelerometer. Does this take up significantly more battery life than just ignoring the accelerometer and having a "change screen orientation" button in the menu? It just seems like a bit of a waste to me if it does considering that the setting would have to be changed once at the most for most players because screen orientation is simply a matter of were the headphone jack is on your model. Also, some people get annoyed if they are playing in weird positions like laying on their side or something and the screen keeps going the wrong way. Just my two cents.
Actually, I turn the accelerometer off when the game loads. It does not cost anything in battery or performance that I have noticed. Plus it does not actually change orientation until your device is almost upside-down. So, people laying on their backs on a bed and playing it with the device straight up above them will be ok, it won't change.
That's good to know. I can't pretend to really know anything about creating iPhone games, so I am sorry if my concerns were a bit misinformed. I just wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. Thanks again.
