It does indeed have the DNA of an endless runner and that is not for everyone. Short version: Yes, you jump back and forth. Long version: There are several different obstacles that will be your demise. Randomly placed spikes, saw blades, arrows, falling rocks, loose rock and the walls are constantly closing in on you. After reach a set amount of height, you trigger challenges which alters your objective in the game. F. ex Saw challenge changes and places only saw blades in such a matter that you need full focus to pass. If you make a mistake you die. We have included several of these mini-games/challenges in the game to make it more interesting because you can't memorize or know what to expect at your next jump. It's not just "jump back and forth", you actually choose where to jump on either side. The challenges are super fun. I would like to see more upgrades personally, to work towards, but it's a solid game. The art is awesome.
