After seeing those videos, and how much quality is packed into these games, the price suddenly looks fine. Wow.
Hmm... seems like a bit of a downgrade to the usual animes but for a much higher price, and DDR is much harder, so going to be skipping this rythm game.
I'm glad I kept this on my watch list. I just couldn't do it at $55, but at this price I might just do it.
Why ? It has a price and that price has dropped so it seems rather on point. JK, havent got this yet not because of the price but because of the filesize and genre. I remeber there were 3 different versions, in the case I end Up getting it is there a clear winner between the 3?
I asked the same question and a helpful forum member told me the best one was probably the one with the twins (sorry - he told me the name but I can't remember it - look at the descriptions by Namco and it'll say which one has the twins.) I ended up getting a different one lol
Original price is a bit too much, but this one is fair for the content. I was interested in getting one of them too, but it's not in the Hungarian store. -.- The one with the twins is Rhythmic Record. eDEN is the best of the original music out of the three I think, which is in Melodic Disc. More info: Melodic Disc (originally Groovy Tune) Characters: Hoshii Miki, Hagiwara Yukiho, Kikuchi Makoto, Shijou Takane Original song: edeN Anime episode: Music of Love Harmonic Score (originally Honey Sound) Characters: Amami Haruka, Kisaragi Chihaya, Miura Azusa, Akizuki Ritsuko Original song: Vault That Borderline Anime episode: Music in The World Rhythmic Record (originally Funky Note) Characters: Takatsuki Yayoi, Minase Iori, Futami Ami & Mami, Ganaha Hibiki Original song: Visionary Anime episode: Music is a Friend
Miku Flick/01 and Miku Flick/02 have sold much better and are far more worth than getting episodes, assuming, you are highly into rhythm games. They are more about the rhythm and less about the animation.
In regards to price: I agree that $55 is mind-blowing. As a long time Tekken fan I already have beef with Namco, and seeing this latest App Store debacle didn't help. HOWEVER, I kept my eye on the title and when it went down to half price I went ahead and got it. I am not sorry I did. In fact, I am quite happy with it. I figured I just spent $20 on Xcom (totally worth it) so what the hey. I got Melodic and it's great. The animation is great IMO and it looks sharp on my iPad and my phone. I'm a Miku Flick fan as well and have both those titles. Those are great. This game has more content, however, and I don't think you can compare the two. The rythmn game is only part of the game; there's a bunch of other stuff to do as manager of your idols. I still think Namco went overboard on the actual price (as compared to other games on the App Store) and I wouldn't have got it unless it was on sale, but now that I have it I have to give credit where credit is due. It's a high quality game and if you're into Japanese anime and/or game culture you'll probably really enjoy it. I played it for several hours last night and was having a blast.
So apparently the service for this game is ending and they are putting these games on sale and they said in March they can't promise that these games will work anymore
As this game isn't an online game right... The risk is that it likely won't work on future iOS upgrades?
