That it right. Syncing it to iTunes will actually backup your progress and you can actually restore them to your phone if you may have removed it earlier on.

LoL, oh I just KNEW you'd be ready hehe ;)

Oh my god, how did this not even OCCUR to me!?! Lmfao, those password saves got way out of hand in some of those games. I can remember drawing little grids with the dots from the Mega Man titles, I'd love to come accross those little scribbles from my childhood someday! The ultimate, however, is the passcode for the first Metal Gear on NES. It was something ridiculous like a 30 space alphanumeric code, and was such a pain in the ass to copy down when you're done or enter into the game when you come back. One day, out of sheer boredom, I actually guessed the code that took me directly to the last battle with the Metal Gear! I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade, at the time. There was a yard duty (one of the adults that kept an eye on things during recess) at my school named Terry Johnson. She was one of the cool yard duty's, everyone liked her. Well I guess she was on my mind or something, but I entered her entire first and last name into the game, and then just a bunch of random numbers and letters to fill out the rest and *presto!* I was at the last battle. I beat the last fight and beat the game. Later, I went on to beat the whole game start to finish, since I felt like I cheated my way into that last one LoL. I'm sure guessing that code was a total fluke type thing, but it was probably the most amazing thing that happened to me at that time. I tried explaining what I just did to my Grandma, but I don't think she thought it was amazing as I did. Anyway, sorry for a long rant of a story. I would love/hate if a dev implemented those passwords saves in a game someday!
