It's VVVVVV not VVVV and according to the video it has a new level editor and a new level created by Notch (of Minecraft fame). That alone makes it worth it IMO.

You think? Notch isn't exactly well-known for his intricately crafted levels :p

Level editors and new content are always welcome and when indie devs get together to cross promote their games that's just a bonus. Like the VVVVVV Super Meat Boy flash game that's almost totally unplayable at the moment.

Cool, but technically this is the fourth indie bundle (Frozenbyte had one not to long ago)

    @Spamcan: Game title fixed.

@Curleh Mustache: Agreed, but it says 3 on the site, so this made more sense here.

That was the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle. This is still the 3rd Humble Indie Bundle. Its like COD, its not MW 8 or whatever number it would be, its MW 3. Its a new series, so new numbering system.

VVVVVV is a wonderful game. Veni, Vidi, Vici is a horrible puzzle. I'm interested in the new content but I would first like to verify I wont lose my saved progress by updating.

So glad I got this, crayon physics is way better on PC than the idevixe version, and I can't wait to play VVVVVV. Yay!

This is a hell of a deal. But anyone know how I can get Steel Storm after I've already purchased?

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out. You should add MineCraft as well, since you get that temporarily.

Edit2: Lol, Notch keeps getting passed on the top contributors page

  15. I bought this purely for VVVVVV and access to MineCraft. I seem to be one of the few gamers left which hadn't actually played MineCraft yet and I'm already addicted to it.

Primarily was interested in VVVVVV as well - gotta love how they've added stuff - where else do you get, "BTW, come back and download more stuff, we added another game to what you already bought! :D"

Still seriously addicted to Minecraft - been playing since Alpha. You can look for stuff I built on raddafiskie.com ;)

  17. I still don't really know what I'm doing in MineCraft yet, other than digging the worlds longest tunnel :D I've built some stuff via experimentation, but I don't want to look at any guides or anything for other items, that would destroy the magic of discovery!

I have a sword and a hat now though, so it's all good.

Just had a look at that site, and geez, MineCraft is massive isn't it?!

That's the beauty of it - you can pretty much do anything you want. I love the exploration aspect of the game as well as the building.

You can do anything you want.. and then a pack of creepers pops up out of nowhere and f$@ks up your s#!t. One I can handle but these days two or three seem to be appearing in the most obnoxious places and the most inopportune times. Anyone watch the Minecraft 1.8 enderman mob video on YouTube? That thing is ligitamately creepy but at least it doesn't blow up in your face!

That's what peaceful mode is for. ;)

Though I usually leave 'em on just to keep me on my toes...
