Yes, you read that title correctly. Another promo code contest for The Horrible Vikings, brought to you by MidianGTX. He'll post the rules and he'll pick the winners. What are the prizes? Grand prize - USD $30 iTunes gift certificate (good for the U.S. only, unfortunately) And then three (3) promo codes for The Horrible Vikings! The three promo code winners will be chosen by Midian. I'll pick the grand prize winner so nobody cries foul or complains of special treatment, conflicts of interest, etc. However, Midian can recommend a winner to me. The winner will obviously have an awesome entry though. Once the contest is over, I'll PM the grand prize winner the iTunes gift certificate code. I'll PM the three other winners a promo code. Once you extract the image files, you can import them into Windows Paint and create your own work of art. Just the usual legal caveats - all art assets and files downloaded are the property of Low Five Games and cannot be used for any commercial purpose. Basically, don't use our art to make your own video game. Using it for this contest and on the TA forum is totally acceptable though and highly encouraged!
I haven't even uploaed my poster yet! Hold on... OK! Get a load of this: Entries are limited to two pictures per person, spamming a load of quickly-drawn pictures wouldn't be fair... but I want to see your ideas if you've got more. If you make a third and want to enter it you'll have to remove one of the others. Obviously if you enter two pictures you still only have a shot at one prize. Standard forum rules also apply, nothing pornographic, no racism etc... you know how it goes. I'm thinking you might want a couple of days to get something done but the final say on that goes to Grace... Oh, and if you read carefully you'll notice I'll be judging based on awesomeness, not your drawing skills, so if you suck... you're just gonna have to come up with something epic.

You could take a screenshot and add some flaming arrows and a 50-foot skeleton... assuming there's already a Viking in it. No Viking = no win.
for me, this is a little too much work for a promo code worth 2 dollars. i would rather just support the devs and just buy it
Grace is the dev, not me, I just made the rules. It says in her first post there are 3 promo codes as prizes It's supposed to be fun, if you don't enjoy it feel free to splash out those two bucks I spent hours on that poster and I don't win anything!
I cleared it with Arn first. Yes, I'm the developer and I will ultimately pass out the promo codes. Thank you for offering to support us. I know promo codes aren't extraordinary prizes, but for us, the best part is to see the creativity and humor of TA users. It's a really fun idea and a huge compliment when we see players create art based on our game characters!

I can't win, obviously, so the idea of this is just to spark a bit of inspiration and show you guys that badassery is more important than graphical perfection.
