I'm the developer of Rocket Santa and baked a developer cake for this competition. You can check it out here. My cake could hardly be called a work of art but I had a great time making it - and thats the whole point of this competition (it tasted great too which was a bonus . There are a stack of prizes up for grabs for non-developers including iTunes gift certificates of a sizeable value. Its really easy to bake a simple sponge cake and decorating it is great fun. I thought i'd throw in the links to the recipes I used so you can see how easy they are... simple sponge cake Cream Cheese frosting I used the cream cheese frosting for the main colour and then some ready rolled icing for the detail. Bake home from the holidays with my family and furiously testing many cake recipes in an attempt to re-create a cake version of one of Earth Vs Moon's satellites. I have too much cake and frosting and not enough people around who can eat them.
The deadline is the 11th January (next monday), we added an extra week last week when we realized people were struggling to enter because of the holidays. And yes, if there's only 1 entry he'll win all the iTunes prizes and a promo code for everything else on offer.

You can enter as many times as you want, but the iTunes certificate prizes will probably be one per person (if enough people enter ).
You all will have to bear with me, I'm like the annoying parents who loves to share photos of their children that no one cares about. So we labored long and hard, baking cake after cake, and here are the fruits of our labor: We shined a green laser on this cake to give it the appearance of being lit up. The yellowish lighting makes my house look ghetto though: I wanted to eat a cake. Luckily, I made more than one so I ate the ugly looking one. This is what the guts of an Earth Vs Moon satellite look like: I can't believe you all aren't baking a cake right now! First of all, it's delicious. Second of all, there are so many prizes to win. You're bound to win something. Don't worry, developers are excluded from the contest.
Hah, you're being too charitable! It's just a green laser being shined on the cake; I'm just moving it back and forth in the photo. All of Retro Dreamer's cakes look better. I did, however, enjoy eating my cake. Yum yum yum. I congratulate you on having the best app contest idea. It's creative and tasty.
@lfg_grace - I agree with Gavin, the Green LED effect is pretty damn awesome and definitely makes it look one of the best so far IMHO.
Thanks! I can't claim credit though. Ben (programmer at Low Five Games) forced me to do it for "authenticity." He made me reference a model of the satellite while I was baking for accuracy.
