I hate this contest! It's making me hungry... :( - There's gotta be somewhere where I can sign up for the testing panel? Please!...

Unfortunately cake doesn't travel well! I always want to try the cakes too when the pictures come in :).

This is a brilliant idea! We're totally psyched about this because the contest combines two things we at Low Five Games love - food and video games. Thank you Retro Dreamer for organizing it. :p

I'll be baking an Earth Vs Moon cake with the help of Duncan Hines and a lot of food coloring. I'd like to do Emperor Noom, but all those tentacles would kill me to bake!

Thanks, it's awesome having so many developers taking part. We're up to 12 cakes from 9 developers already!

We were happy to be able to participate. And the great thing about entering the contest is you get to eat your own entry!

I'd like to issue a challenge to non-developers. Let's see your entries! Don't let us app developers have all of the fun. Plus, you can win real $$$!

For the baking challenged, it's time to get creative with some colored jello. :)

Wait, wait, you have to be a developer to do this?

No, the prizes are all for non-developers.

Developers are baking cakes too, but that's just for fun.

The closing date is 4th January.

No, no, the contest is for non-developers only. However, we developers are so enamored with our own games that we feel the need to craft edible tributes to our own video game creations. Personally, I'm just obsessed with food and eating. :p

The deadlines for entries is 4 January 2010. I hope you all get involved! It's fun to see the delicious items that people create.

Would I be able to request a promo code in return for making a cake for an app I do not have?

If you have some of the apps on offer you can let us know. We'll do our best to work around that when allocating prizes.

I bet if you send a link to your App Cake picture, the developer would be more than happy to make sure you get a promo code for the app one way or another. I know we would be honored if anyone submitted an App Cake of one of our apps.

That's a good point, I think you'll find a lot of indie developers especially will be quite flattered if you take the time to bake their Apps.
