A port of midway games "smash tv". Would that not be the ultimate twin stick shooter? Used to play this in the arcade back in the day, then on my snes. Who do I have to mail / hassle to get this done!
For me it has to be Tomb Raider. The excitement and anxiety of exploring the lost tombs of Egypt would be fantastic on the iPhone. An original Tomb Raider game would be brilliant, but I'd settle for a port. Crystal Dynamics - make it happen!
I can't believe that Raptor Call of The Shadows is still not ported. Mountain King Studios can make a killing with it.
As stupid as it may sound, I'm waiting for Valve to do a side project on the iPod Maybe a L4D Top Down Multiplayer shooter?
I've been dying for a sequel to Full Throttle since I learned about it and how it was cancelled. It's great that we now have a more than awesome port of a more than awesome game, but I'm hopin that Lucasarts will make something new for the iPhone. Otherwise I think Telltale games should get into the iPhone scene as they make some great point and click games. If they make some of their games with graphics that an iPhone could handle they'd make a killing.
How about one of the Burnout games, whether it be free roam like Burnout Paradise or set courses like Burnout Legends for the PSP.
quite obiously we all need a simple game of tic tac toe a good one! no i just kidding lets have that fallout project come throught bethesda!
+1 on the crazy taxi, it's too bad sega is too busy bringing half-assed emulated ports on the iphone.
I think either Warlords 1,2, or 3. The games are old so the idevices could EASILY run it. The game is turn based so the touch controls would be perfect for it. You could even set up a nice multiplayer system sort of like uniwar. It would be amazing to play this game. I still to this day play Warlords 3 on my computer every once in a while. I really think this game would catch on.
Roller Coaster Tycoon. The first two could easily run on the iDevices. Those games are so incredibly addicting that I don't know that I would want to buy another game for a very long time.
zoo tycoon awwwww i love zoo tycoon, have it on my computer or pokemon of course, but that wont happen
Trackmania. The folks at Nadeo would know exactly how to get the most out of the iDevices graphic-wise (especially with the 3G-S and the rumored iPod upgrades). Combine that with seamless multiplayer and P2P track sharing... heaven
I'm going to enjoy Gang$tar (if it runs smoothly and doesn't crash much). But the upcoming games I would hope for are Star Wars Battle Front and Kingdom Hearts. It could definitely be done on the upcoming iPhone and iPod Touch models.
