Another colour blind gamer here. As well as Red/Green being pretty much fused in my eyes, I also have issues differentiating blue/purple. Pretty much have to stare at them both to make a near-educated guess, but in a game like this would be too late # Would like to try this once a colour-blind option is available. Tagged this for updates
Colorblind as well, as soon as I hear that updates out I will be getting this, I'm very excited for it
Another colorblind gamer h... Just kidding. This looks awesome but I guess I'm confused by the gameplay. I read a comment about twitch gameplay? Ok. I watched sanuku's video. I'm much less interested now. for some reason I had thought this was a kairosoft like game with a stock trading theme (which I would have really enjoyed I'd done right).
I thought this at first too. I bought this game thinking it was a slow paced strategy game. But I must say I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this game nonetheless.
"THE FIRM is a puzzle video game focusing on the emotional toll of working as a trader inside a big corporation. Every decision you'll make will be evaluated and will have an impact on your profits. Dont make any mistake and you will be the richest Man in the entire world Disobey and you will have to manage the consequences." When telling people not to make a mistake, be careful to not make any of your own.
I noticed that the word "below" is spelled "bellow" in one of the screen shots. Beware your own mistakes, non ?
Is it any worth buying? I'm a sucker for these types of games and usually end up buying and regretting when it doesn't live up to the hype or expectations.
Game Center stat recording is bugged at the moment. Every time I reopen the game it has lost all my scores. Don't see any new scores either. By the way, you asked if the power ups are too expensive. Well... Maybe borderline, especially at the very beginning. As you progress and get better, making money gets easier. Dunno if this helps answer the question, but I don't always feel like buying the higher tier power ups gives a good return on investment. That's okay if they're intended to boost your high score rather than your earnings. So I'm on the fence, but it doesn't seem TOO bad. And for anyone wondering if it's worth buying: watch some videos. It's sort of a funny twist on the old stop/go psychological exercise. It tests your reflexes but also your ability to suppress them when necessary. I like it, but it is a simple game and your expectations will dictate your satisfaction.
Will this revive an update with universal support, or a whole new game? I game mostly on my iPad, so if the the latter is true Id rather wait just so I'm not buying two different games (if I got invested in this one). Looks like a much more interesting game than something like Timberman.
The universal support will be added in an update of the game (it will not be a whole new game to buy)
This game is amazing! It sounds like a cliche but this game really is simple to pick up but surprisingly hard to master. The core game is super simple, buy the right stocks! But it keeps adding more and more curve balls to keep the game fresh and to mash your brain a little more just when you think you've got the hang of it. The graphics are awesome and the presentation and gameplay are flawless! For a simple one handed game that you can pick up and play for any amount of time, I cannot more highly reccomend this for only 69p! Plus no IAP peeps, get on this and support the dev now.
@SunnysideGames I found a bug, I got a high score of 36k yesterday and it registered on GameCenter, but it is gone today # Unless it was removed!?
What a simple, and challenging game. Te concept is simple, but mastering it takes some real concentration and reflexes.
I agree.I bought it and played for an hour and got bored rather soon.Hope they'll add more stuff in future updates because it's a pretty neat game.
We heard about that today :/ Sorry for the trouble, we are currently investigating this issue, and an update will follow ASAP!
