This is a good idea for a thread but not always easy to find 30 minutes. Anyway, 30 minutes later a random search produced Foosball, by excellent developers Illusion Labs. I'd never heard of the game or the word, but since learned it's the name for those table soccer games with the spinning handles. It was reviewed in July 2010 by Toucharcade who said - "There's not much you can say about the gameplay of Foosball".

It's a great simulation of the real thing - awkward to use, easy to score own goals and gets jammed up sometimes. Can be played against AI or with a human on the same screen. I can see myself having many minutes of fun with this. Apparently it's bad form to spin the players round in complete circles.

Thanks for posting the Foosball video Red1. Been practicing and winning some games now.

I read the review of Bitless and it looks well hyperactive. Don't think I could cope with that one.

Highrise Heroes is a great find. Word games can be a bit average and I don't play many but this is an interesting and intelligent game. Plenty of variety while working through the story so I'll be spending more time with this.
