Just beat the game and absolutely loved it.. Now going to give it another go with the monsters being tougher.. Mr. Dev it's not a big deal but adding GC achievements will give me even more reason to keep playing.. Just a thought ##.. Now I could finally start playing tallowmere or LOG.. This game has been occupying all my time lately.. Thanks for the awesome game and congrats on the great review
Thanks! Just saw the review. There's some misunderstanding on the extra 20 floors I think - they're already there! The free online flash version released in January is the lite version with 80 floors, and the mobile versions are premium with 100 floors, so that's where the extra 20 comes from. Long ago in early development I've said different things so if there's an old forum post somewhere I've forgotten to edit let me know so that I can take care of it.
Wow, just wow. Haven't had an iOS game dig its hooks into me like this for a long time. Just the right mix of rogue-like and some progression, crafting, crazy min-maxing. Just can't say enough positive things. A complete steal at $2.99, wish I could buy it again or tip the dev somehow.
Was about to say the same thing lol ## And I'm with you, this game sucked me in.. I'm guessing I've logged in close to 20 hours.. Beat the game on New game + mode (tougher monsters) as well.. Hopefully Dustin adds gamecenter achievements.. It'll give me another reason to play and my GC friends will know what game has been occupying most of my time lol ##
This is an amazing game and it almost became the perfect RPG game I was looking for. There are a lot of little things in this game that stands out when you actually play the game that makes it great. The depth and selections of the inventory menus to the way the character moves is really nice. The deal breaker for me is you're not able to see the equipment and items that you equip. I'm sure a lot of yall don't mind it but it's a big thing for me in games. I don't like it when games do that. I don't like grinding and exploring for special loot when you can't even see it on the character. It takes away the excitement for me. Kinda like when you see a rare item drop and part of the excitement is wondering what your character would look like when it is equipped. Sorry if this has been brought up already, I didn't go through all of the comments. Other than that, it's a wonderful RPG game that everyone else that wouldn't mind will enjoy. Great job to the Dev! I hope there will be another Enchanted Cave.
Sorry if this was answered already, but what's the trick to enchant an item so that you can keep it after using wings?
I agree with you. But the Dev explained how costly and time-consuming it would have been for 1 person to animate the character with all the different equips. Still a great game though.
All good, cleared him at level 26. Removed all the regen gear and swapped it for some elemental defence, more bleed and more... the other direct damage. Farmed pots at the shop and transmuted them for later use. Easy as pie. New Game Plus however... jeebus!
Just finished the game. First playthrough was great! New Game+ is kind of boring. Lacking new loot maybe.
Finishe level 100 bug? So I knocked off the boss on level 100 and get the new sword, but when I quit to main menu I'm still stuck at level 100, or have all the levels open and if I chose level 90, i just do my last run all over and get to level 100 with the same boss. The final text after beating the boss says something bout starting over But with higher level monsters?
Dev, any plans to redesign the loot for new game +? Hell, I'd pay the full price of the game again for such an option.
Just get started. This game is a work of art! I'm just wandering which skill tree to invest, I assume heal is the first thing to get, but then on magic tree there's a skill to enchanted artifact, on the other hand, damage tree is the one that's get you further... I can't make up my mind!!!
You're correct in getting heal, I then went for transmutate so you can take virtually anything outside of the cave that you find. After that, totally your call. I beat th game and never spent any additional points in magic beyond the trees to get those 2 spells.
