Oversee your subjects as the years come and go, families grow, and new rulers take the throne. BUILD YOUR DYNASTY Tell your story for generations - each day in real life covers the span of an entire year in The Elder Scrolls: Castles. Train your subjects, name heirs, and maintain order to help your kingdom flourish. Will you keep your subjects happy and ensure a long life for their ruler? Or will they grow discontent and plot assassination? But at the cost of heating your device which I wasn’t expecting from a game like this. The added decision making mechanic for kings/queens is a welcome addition and will keep players engaged. But oh boy the IAPs. We have come a long way from the player-friendly monetisation of Fallout Shelter. Starting costs are quite steep and a season pass merged into core progression that has a 7 day and 30 day pricing? This is bad. I can imagine the direction this game is already trying to take. And I don’t like it. Game is solid though. Quality management sim that’s quite engaging. If you can ignore all the IAPs and the device heating. solarnya and Stronsay like this. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,748 985 113 #3 ste86uk, Sep 10, 2024 I played it during softlaunch but quickly stopped. I didn’t find the decision making to my taste. I want things to be strategic and predictable and didn’t enjoy hoping I’d made the correct decision because I didn’t know what either choice would do. But I know there are people bound to enjoy that element, but for me that along with iap is enough to give it a pass. I am going to try one more time now it’s launched but I imagine it’s the same as there weren’t many updates in softlaunch.
