Is there a particular genre from which this game is deerived? Seriously I'm consideering this game but it's not my usual thing, and reviews are very mixed. Seems like this game is endeered to every second person here somehow. Just wondering....what makes this so...great? Deer
So far I love the graphics and the premise but I'm confused about what to do exactly. The old guy asked me to look for his monacle but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. He said something about in the bushes but I'm nowhere near any bushes. Am I being too literal? Also my first special power doesn't do anything when I hit it. Attacking enemies is a little weird I'm never sure if I'm hurting them or just getting hurt myself. I think it's due to the fact that this is such a unique game and it's never been done before, I'm probably approaching it wrong
Who the hell gave this 1 star? Even if everything else sucked, the graphics alone at least should earn 3 stars. I'm gonna 5 star this just because it deserves way higher than 1. After I play it I will re-evaluate my decision and change it if need be. And referring to the screenshots, how can this game be compared to Far Cry 4? Lol, 2 great games that are absolutely nothing alike
Umm...why? I don't care how amazing a game may or may not look. If it isn't any good, there is no way in hell I'd ever give it 3 stars. Graphics don't mean anything if a game isn't any fun.
Yes it is 'just' a side-scroller.....in the same way that Gears of War and Halo are 'just' about shooting aliens, and GTA is 'just' about driving cars and shooting people. Being 'just' a side-scroller is not a pro or con for a game, it's just describing what it is. And I think the Farcry comparison is about the number of animals attacking you, not the graphics. Personally I love the look of the graphics in this but I'm still not sure about the gameplay. But then I didn't 'get' what 'Paper Please' was about until recently and now I'm loving the game.
Giving a game 5 stars when you didn't even play it yet is just as bad as giving a game one star when it does not deserve it. You can't just try and mitigate bad scoring practices with other bad scoring practices just because you are hyped about a game.
