I know, but I didn't want any iNoobs to get scared. (not referring to anyone here, more to the avrage iTunes reviewer, if you know what I mean...)
Don`t be that cruel, Dreamscape was all a One-Man-Show and for that it was at least Running. Besides that, The Dark Meadow is nice looking and the Developers seem to know what they do. I am trying to get a Test Build for us so i can create a HD Gameplay Trailer/Sneak Peak about the Game and post it so we can get Crazy if it is better then the current UDK Games.
Sometimes when I play on my itouch while it's charging, it gets REALLY hot. Haha so overclocking your device would make it melt.
I'll laugh REALLY hard if some noob comes along the forums/iTune review and asks/states IS THIS GAME COMPATIBLE WITH IPOD 2 GEN???/DOESN'T WORK WITH IPOD 2 GEN!!!
my iPod has been getting unusually hot lately. Atleast, should something happen I still have overa year of waranty. But I know that I'd have to make the iPod overheat for apple to even consider replacing it.
http://www.touchgen.net/the-dark-meadow-an-unreal-powered-adventure “Phosphor Games Studio has been a development partner of ours for years, and we’re happy to see them create a unique experience for iOS utilizing their talents and skills with Unreal Engine 3,” said Mark Rein, Vice President of Epic Games. “It’s exciting to see more triple-A quality games coming to mobile devices and we can’t wait to play The Dark Meadow.” Key points from article: Movement will use a node system, like Infinity Blade to explore (not a rails system like Rage) There will be upgrades and items to earn in the game, like Infinity Blade Epic has partnered with the developers, as Unreal Licensees for along time. iPad 2 graphics looks amazing But how good is iPhone/iPod Touch 4G graphics? (sorry for my bad english)
The screenshots on the first page are iPhone 4/iPod Touch 4 screenshots. No iPad screenshots have been released as far as I know.
"Date of Admission: August 1st, 2011." So I'm guessing that that's terelease date they're shooting for. Woah, don't get us itouch owners all excited, it might turn out to be limited to just iPhone 4/IPad 2.
It's gotta run on 4g iPods. Graphics aren't through the roof or nothing.. Especially considering it's gonna use a system like IB for movement. They would be dumb to lose so many sales restricting it to only iPhone 4 and iPad 2. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it's compatible on 3GS, just lower resolution.
Well the resolution of those screenshots is retina resolution. Which should mean that they are iPhone 4 screenshots, unless the devs tried to trick us by taking iPad 2 screenshots and scaling them to retina resolution (although I don't think that's very likely). I expect the graphics will look similar on the iPod Touch 4. Possibly slightly worse if the devs made use of the iPhone 4's extra RAM. Oh and it's definitely not impossible. I've seen better graphics on my iPhone 4.
Release date? They've stated in the past, Dark Meadow's coming in August...The 1st is a Monday though (In Cali) Crosses fingers.
well if release date is 1-8 then this game should be released today in nz unless they mean 1-8 in nz first and 2-8 worldwide
