Playing this on iPhone 3GS, and no major bugs here either, which is awesome considering that 3GS support of this game was a total surprise to begin with. I had one bug where it put me in Gotham with nothing to do, but all I had to do was exit and reload my game to fix it. Other than that and some minor frame drop now and then when things really heat up, it runs like a dream. Obviously this is not "Arkham City Pocket" or anything like that, but for a mobile Batman game (and a movie tie-in no less) the game is extremely competently made and a heckuvalotta fun.
No not that building thats the garage im talking the big building on the others side with the fire on top of the roof I cant get inside through the back I can only get through the front but the 3 guys inside are blocked off on the second floor I cant get to them
Graphically on newer devices (iPad 3 here) it compares to Arkham city. If only the combat did, too...
Okay, you have to make sure that you have defeated everyone in this level and you should see a quick cut scene, then the cracked window on the top floor will be breakable.
after 3 days of hardwork finally managed to improve the graphics on ipod touch 4th gen things i did high resolution HUD larger field of view fog depth of field enabled dynamic lighting some shaders and rain
Combat is pretty similar to that in AC. Not as smooth or varied, but it follows the same basic formula of beating up guys with basic combos, and interrupting the attack of one guy to counter another, then beat him up some, then counter another guy coming in on you, and so forth. What about the combat don't you really like?
But I defeated all the enemies around the area even the 2 up on the roof in the surveillance room & even the 2 by the front entrance of the bridge & all the thugs holding hostages & the ones by the helicopter landing pad & I take out the cameras & set the charges on the 2 green control panels ,the only thing left on my map is the 3 thugs inside the station on the 2nd floor but I cant get to them . Is there a certain way I have to go through the mission cause I know for a fact some games will glitch if you do the mission in a certain order ,also what cutscene are you talking about is it the one with the helicopter cause I always see that in this mission
I played through the mission again, doing things in a different order this time and it worked out fine. Shortly after the helicopter cut scene you should get something like "search for X in the police headquarters" and there will be a marker pointing to that top floor room with the cracked window. I'm not sure what else to suggest.
Hmph...well, that's good to hear. Still gonna wait 'til it goes on sale, but glad someone has good impressions of it on 3GS.
Lol it was a glitch I guess I had to take out the surveillance room first then rescue the hostages ,before I would just go straight after the hostages then take out the thugs then take out the surveillance room ,so I guess the order I was going through the mission caused the glitch ,but now since I went for the surveillance room first then the hostages then the thugs it worked out fine I was able to break the glass & finish the last 3 thugs off & complete the mission. P.s- thanks for the help
This is one of Gameloft's best games to date IMO. Even though I'm playing on a dated iPhone4 with crap graphics/no rain/etc, I still get enough of the gameplay that merits this an excellent release. I enjoyed the open playground Amazing Spiderman as well, but this trumps it. Very nice job with this one!
How did you do it?! Sweet! So, if you don't mind sharing, how did you do it?! I've been wanting to put the rain on my iPhone 4G. And I often use PhoneView to save files/clean out my idevices, so I'm interested in the files you altered. Thanks!
Tried searching the thread but it's a little arduous on the app. Can anyone tell me what the little batman heads with red crosshairs signify under the xp gauge?
I might be wrong, but I think they indicate how many of an objective you've achieved - ie. rescued (how many out of) three hostages, defuse bombs, recover hijacked cars, etc. A question I have: is there any indication of Batman's health status? I see the screen goes red around the edges when he is majorly injured or taking major damage, but is there actually a health gauge somewhere? If not, do we just assume his health is fully recovered between battles?
I could also be wrong, but I think the target heads have something to do with enemies that have seen you, or possibly damage taken by Batman. They appear whenever a ranged opponent starts shooting me, but they don't disappear right away when the fight is over.
How'd you do it? I've been fiddling around with the settings too but none of the changes I make seem to work
They can be compared to the stars in gta. How more sights the more enemies will attack you and at 3 heads a helicopter cones.
