This game going to be free roam, like spiderman? Pretty cool for batman game, if it's true.

Why does it seem that when I had my iPhone 4 with a4 chip we were getting better games. I truly feel with the number of different devices out there that devs arenot pushing the envelope completely, due to wanting to support all devices

Think it would be crazy to make a game for iphone 4 only due to the a4 chip. If they brought out a new ipod touch with the latest chip it would help but its sensible to release a game to hit all the main devices

I'm not too bothered by the graphics, want the gameplay to be good, plus some of Gamelofts latest games have huge filesizes, Apple really need to release a 128 gig ipod/ipad etc.

I saw an old TA thread from a few years ago which mentioned 'the app size is 468 meg !!!', thats nothing now though !

NO, what Apple MUST do is to give us an option in the AppStore to only download the files of our device. Why do I need the iPad 3 textures, etc. in my iPhone 4S?

Here is a composite image pieced together using frames from two brief sequences in the latest teaser video. (I really need to get out more :)) This should give a reasonable impression of the environments in the game. Quite impressive for an open-world mobile game if this is anything to go by.

I had to make up the bottom portion of the truck, as it was obscured by the characters, and I added the large factory chimney at the top right. Everything else is lifted straight from the gameplay video.

Well, that would probably be best, but GL is alienating a huge install base with the game...

I doubt that. If that's true, I get shafted from JL AND TDKR, which is completely unfair.

I doubt that. I do think they'll leave 3rd gens out of this, though.

No it isn't. Gameloft isn't required to support old devices that are holding back everything else.

If this game is anything like Spider-man in terms of open world then its not even worth bothering if you have an iPhone 4 or below. The performance and graphics difference in Spider-man from playing on a 4 and 4S is huge, it was so laggy it was unplayable on the iPhone 4 and the draw distance was just so poor.

Yeah, it'll probably support the same devices that The Amazing Spider-man did.

Haha, definitely agree that there is quite a difference between how Spider-man looks and plays on higher-end devices vs iPhone 4. But then again, I'm still playing it on iPhone 4. It's not too shabby.
