I agree with you for the most part, however they're starting to put more time and money into these games. NOVA 3 had a production time of 1.5 years and, as you know, is a very high quality game graphically and, in terms of multiplayer, surpasses some console offerings. I'm hoping they'll make more games like NOVA 3, that's all.

Hopes only getting higher and higher on what I see. Hopely we all are not misled by this awesoeme videos and screenshots.
Catwoman looks like...Catwoman The lighting looks stunning. Captures perfectly Gotham's mood. I'm getting more and more hopeful...
He may or may not be on the motorcycle. Can't really tell though. The blur will probably only be on the high-end devices though.
I don't trust the screenshots... If you see the Spiderman screenshots on the AppStore, actually looking much better from what the game really is, because they have use the perfect angles to hide the washed out colors and the bad texture pop up... Of course Batman it's easy to seem better on our devices because of the dark theme and the contrast of the lighting.. but till i get this on my hands i ll keep low expectations because after Spiderman don't know what to wait from them (i enjoy it, but graphically was average).
Gameloft always has screens that look better than the real game. They're very good at that. Really, if they implement some sort of fun combat system, I'll probably end up biting. As spiderman, it was fun to sling around the city, but when you actually got to your destination it kinda sucked. I'm hoping this will atleast have some good missions.
I hope Gameloft knocks this out of park. This is a golden opportunity to show us that you guys can still make a great game. What better then batman
Will probably be getting it along with thousands of others just because it's Batman. TASM is still in the top 20 at $6.99 after two weeks and a half. TDKR will no doubt do even better. Hope this is even 1/10 of what Arkham City is.
I'm playing on iPad 3 the heavy graphics games. Never said that wasn't fair for an open world with fast motion web slinging, but i would prefer another way to make it and not this "sudden moment" awful texture pop up. Anyway here is the Batman thread so I hope I ll see something better!
Same here. But yeah, even 1/10 is a high mark to shoot for when you're comparing it to Arkham City. I'm keeping my hopes up for now though. Finger-crossed that Gameloft paid a bit more attention to detail than usual for this title.
