It could that they've been focused on this instead of spider-man or learnt from spider-man....I think?
For those unreal engine games, maybe they'll never b released:( maybe gameloft only used unreal engine to improve their in-house fps engine  Nobody can say anything.;)

I'd rather have gameloft's games like asphalt 7 and nova3 (hell even the spider man game) than things that pass off as videogames like dead trigger or the various crappy UE3 "games" we've had to endure in IOS .

Some new, detailed info about the game

THE EXCLUSIVE GAME INSPIRED BY THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

After being gone for eight years, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as Batman. Waiting for him is the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batman’s legacy piece by piece.

Meet all of Batman’s allies and rebuild your strength to protect Gotham City from Bane.

Become completely immersed in the story thanks to likenesses for all the movie’s main characters like Catwoman, Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon.

    AN EPIC GAMING EXPERIENCE

Dozens of missions plus random events will make you feel all the thrill of being a superhero. Deal with hostage situations, bomb squads, jailbreaks and car chases to prove that you’re the true protector of Gotham.

A thrilling fighting system that puts you right in the heart of the action thanks to many different moves and cinematic effects.

Collect items hidden within the city to unlock upgrades and new fighting skills for Batman.

    PLAY AS THE DARK KNIGHT

Access Batman’s complete arsenal and learn how to take full advantage of each tool. Use the Grapnel to cross the city or to defeat foes, throw the Batarang to knock out your enemies or to hit a distant button; the possibilities are infinite.

When kicks and gadgets are of no use, The Dark Knight relies on his vehicles to get the job done. Drive the Bat-Pod for special vigilante missions or pilot The Bat for fast travel across the city.

EXPERIENCE GOTHAM AS YOU NEVER HAVE BEFORE

Explore the entire city of Gotham and its different districts spread across a huge map and enjoy stunning graphics for total immersion in the dark universe of Batman

I'm worried about the draw distance. The trailer is paced just like the Amazing Spider-Man trailer to only show tiny snippets of gameplay. They aren't showing him moving around the city for more then 1 second at a time and I'm thinking it's because, like Spider-Man the texture pop in is god awful. I know it doesn't effect gameplay but it really detracts from the overall experience.

That's not what Gameloft does, and it was not what they were ever designed to do. That's precisely why they don't wear the Ubisoft badge. They're the quick-buck dept. for Ubi. Anything worth investing in gets the Ubi logo. For the toy that goes with the Happy Meal, it goes to Gameloft.

    I wouldn't say that's always true.

Nope, you're wrong. GL makes a crapload of cash with some franchises like O&C and MC3. What I want is better quality for those big games. NOVA 3 was a start, now follow up with a bigger, better, fully optimized MC4 in 2013. Take your time, GL.

Hmm, "pilot the bat". Looks like we'll be able to fly around the city.

My guess is that MC4 will be released this fall, just like the other MCs, even if we want it "bigger, better, fully optimized".

Hopefully not. Nova 3 was released early summer instead of the usual christmas, so we'll see.

No one's saying they aren't profitable -- on the contrary. But one of the reasons they're able to be profitable is because they can churn out games based on more popular franchises. But that quality you're referring to isn't their focus. Their prime objective is to look & smell like a AAA title created at a bargain basement price. Go into any Target and you can easily find clothes that look similar to what you'd find at Macy's, only priced much lower. The actual quality isn't likely to be the same.

I'm more worried about its number of bugs. God, Spiderman's main feature in the iTunes description should be the bugs, not the "amazing" graphics neither the "awesome" action moments.
