I don't know how I feel about this game... There have been a LOT of really, really bad Batman games. The guys at Rocksteady did an amazing job with the Arkham games, and I don't want to have another string of bad Batman games. (I know it's just 'one' game, but still) We'll have to see if Gameloft can prove themselves worthy to handle The Dark Knight.
Two points: 1. The game looks, from what little the trailer shows, amazing. Both Batman and the thugs have individual fingers, even. Wow. Lotsa eye candy. Definitely a plus for me. 2. Anyone know what those limp red things the thugs are holding?
Why does this look like it could be close to a console game yet amazing spiderman looks like a ds type of game? Whatever I hope we get to drive the batmobile or at least make it as easy to move around like in Arkham Asylum & city.
Surprised to know they're making this. Looks like a combination of Eurocom's okay-ish (from what I can remember) Batman Begins mixed in with Rocksteady's Arkham Asylum/City's free-flow combat. Did "The Dark Knight" ever get a game release of sorts?
Damn iPhone keyboard to sensitive. Any ways as I was saying not only a great looking game but it is console worth can't wait to play
Looks really promising But in my opinion mobile games today looks great already, we have very good looking textures, shaders, shadows, lighting etc. I think it's enough and devs should focus on the animations more now. Most 3D games looks superb on pictures but only great in action. I mean...I don't know.... for me I prefer having great animations than great textures, lighting, etc. Ang i tell you, i'm not satisfied with Gameloft's animations. Just my 5 bucks LOL
For my $5, I agree. GL animations usually suck. Ugh silent ops was awful in that and every other regard. But I still play their games...
It will be cool if we can use gadgets, change Batman's skins(such as Batman Arkham City Lockdown), drive Batmobile and hope won't be a freemuim game...
What worries me is that at 8:47 in the most recent gameloft podcast, a weird token is emitted from the baddie after he is defeated. Hopefully not some sort of freemium currency for the game...
