...oh yeah, I should've mentioned. It works both ways - I found this out when I bought the Easter pack in regular version and found it unlocked the Easter pack in the Holiday version.
Is it a permanent unlocking? SO, if I buy it on the regular version and then unlock the holiday version on my iPhone, will the holiday version also be unlocked on the iPad?
Just checked the holiday version on my iPad and the simple answer is no. It seems this unlocking is only possible on the iPhone/Touch platform.
The Easter level pack is great, just like all the other level packs. I am very glad the menu got changed. It looks good this way and I like that the levels scroll horizontally again, without weird effects.
It will work just fine on the iPad... but both versions need to be installed on the same device for the unlock to work. Glad to hear it.
Will the HD version be updated to get these levels too? I've given up on new iPad levels, but it would be better then nothing to at least have the HD version keep up with the holiday version.
Sometimes levels from level packs from HE are locked in the regular Creeps (I can open them but all levels are locked with ???? - including very first), but when I go to achievements or any other menu and then return to packs - they become open... like this http://disk.tom.ru/ep4jvhj
Will this solution/unlock be permanent after we have done it once? Is it possible to completely remove the Holiday Edition from the device and iTunes after the level packs are unlocked in the regular edition or do we need it again if we reinstall the game or switch devices in the future? How do you save which level packs we have? Is it by device id, gamecenter account, itunes account or another solution? Does the iPad version of the game contain the same or different levels? I read about 8 new levels for iPad - does this mean, that the iPhone levels are not included in the iPad version? How about the level packs? Are the regular level packs available for iPad and is it possible to transfer them after we bought them for iPhone? Are the Holiday level packs for iPad the same as the iPhone level packs? Is it possible to transfer them or do we have to buy them twice?
Somehow I'm not able to open the last Doorbuster in the Easter-Pack. Won all 3 Silly Lily (E/M/H) and also all Ensurance Levels. Great Game btw.
Hey thanks for the updates! I deleted my Holiday edition today now that I can access everything in my original version. Love the updates. Definitely still one of my most favorite TD games ever. Keep it up! Edit: All I did was run the holiday version one time after the update. Then when I went back in to the original version, I hit the bigass restore button and it saw all of my purchases and restored them. Worked very nicely.
Looks like a bug. I'll get this fixed for the next major update. Glad to hear you can just switch menus and come back and it fixes itself... so it's not too huge of a problem. You can uninstall the holiday edition once you've used it to unlock your level packs in the original game. If you re-install the game or get a new device in the future, you will need to install the holiday edition again to unlock those level packs. It uses a reciept that it gets from iTunes. The cross-game unlock is basically trickery since Apple doesn't support it... The Creeps HD contains iPad specific levels that are not found in the original game. It does not contain any duplicate levels from the original game or the holiday edition. I large update is in the works, but I don't have a release date yet. Geez, you ask a lot of questions!! The level packs are not currently available for The Creeps! HD. The holiday edition is universal and has exactly the same content if you run it on an iPhone or an iPad. If the original game and the holiday edition are both installed on the same device, then they will be aware of eachother's purchased level packs and unlock that content in the other version. This way you can get the level packs unlocked in the original game and delete the holiday edition. However, the original game is iPhone/iPod only, so if you are playing on an iPad you might want to keep the holiday edition around since it is universal and looks great on iPad (instead of 2x iPhone graphics). I assume it's a common bug, because the last Easter doorbuster doesn't unlock for me either. Of course I can email when needed, but there really isn't much to say besides that it doesn't unlock when it should.
it consist of levels (survival, endurance, door buster) with indestructible blocks and from the very start you have some turrets - you need to upgrade them and blast destroyable blocks. Bought The Creeps HE, what a great game!! Once again you did it S²!! Two questions: - could you tell me how many game and additional packages are there? - concerning The Creeps HE, I'm trying to beat the Survival Mode with all the achievements (hard, all destroyed, perfect,...). I cannot beat level "Crash the castles" (the level before the last one). Any suggestion in how to set all the weapons? Thanks!
