It could also just walk on the path with a crazed look on it's face I just thought of being forced to eat vegetables as a kid and it just popped into my head when I saw this thread. I had some ideas for effects for some enemies, but I wasn't sure if they could be implemented or not.

I always thought there should be a game that has the seven wonders of the ancient world. Here are the wonders http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonders_of_the_World#Seven_Wonders_of_the_Ancient_World I quickly put together some ideas that made sense with this theme, but I'm sure with a little help from Wikepedia there might be better ideas. The setting of course is the wonder of the world. Great Pyramid of Giza Normal Creeps: Pyramid builder, High Priestess/Priest, Mummy Fast/Weak: Isis, Slow/strong: Pharaoh Mega-Boss: Sphynx Hanging Gardens of Babylon Normal Creeps: Various Bugs that hang out in a garden Fast/Weak: Creepy, crawling hanging vines Slow/strong: Walking tree Mega-Boss: Venus Flytrap Statue of Zeus at Olympia Normal Creeps: Minotaur, Medusa, Siren Fast/Weak: Ares - Greek God of war, murder and bloodshed Slow/strong: Hera (Queen of the gods) Mega-Boss: Zeus (King of the Gods) Temple of Artemis at Ephesus Normal Creeps: Centaurs, Chimaera, Cyclopes Fast/Weak: Hermes (God of flight, thieves, mischief, commerce, and travelers...also messenger for the gods) Slow/strong: Apollo (God of music, medicine, health, prophecies, poetry, and archery and Artemis's twin) Mega-Boss: Artemis (Goddess of the hunt, wild things, and the moon) Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus Normal Creeps: Dead Greek Zombies, Skeletons, etc Fast/Weak: Greek Priest Slow/strong: Oracle of Delpha Mega-Boss: Hades (god of death and underword Colossus of Rhodes Normal Creeps: Soliders of Alexander the great that attacked the Colossus Fast/Weak: Sailors Slow/strong: Builders of the statue Mega-Boss: Helos (greek god of the sun and the god which the Colossus of Rhodes was modeled after Lighthouse of Alexandria Normal Creeps: Various Ancient Egyptians Fast/Weak: a Pharaoh Slow/strong: Light house keeper (remember, he used coal and fire to keep the lighthouse going Mega-Boss: cleopatra (after all she killed all her siblings) I always thought this would be an awesome platform game. I also think the wonders of the medieval world would work too # tonehenge # Colosseum # Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa # Great Wall of China # Porcelain Tower of Nanjing # Hagia Sophia # Leaning Tower of Pisa I clearly watch to much of the discovery and history channel.
So I pretty much love her ideas & was hoping for the same ideas, I just wasn't quite sure how to put it together like she did. Great compilation!
Thx! Yeah, I don't understand why more Game Developers don't use stories and places from history. It's not that original an idea. And there is so much that can be done. There are such great stories and no copy rights. They can do everything from Greek gods to Huck Finn to a ton of other things. Stories are done, characters are made. And you get a ton of depth. I always thought the Seven wonders of the world would be a great platformer Hope some developers are reading this and if you want some ideas happy to help.
