I would gladly pay $3 for this game, because that's what games like this sell for - it's what the market dictates. From what I can tell you CAN buy a premium experience as IAPs, but it would cost you $9. You could remove the ship limit for $5.99 and then buy a doubler for $3. Even without the doubler, I can't justify buying this for $6 when I could get so many other games for that $6. Devs, if you're listening, twitchy arcade games are never going to thrive on the F2P model. They are played in a one week burst and then put down forever. That's why they are all either free with ads, or < $3. Also, twitchy arcade high scorelers HAVE to have Gamecenter - they just do. EDIT: You put in ALL CAPS - "NO PAY 2 WIN". That's pure BS. You pay money to buy gold which repairs your ship which allows you to continue the run. That's the definition of PAY TO WIN. Great game. Sadly you ruined it. I've been wanting an Accelerator port on IOS and this is the closest so far. The controls are great. The aiming reticule is such a brilliant addition, makes it so much easier to orient yourself. The sense of speed is excellent But that damn freemium set-up and timer ruins any interest I had. Sad to such a great twitch game brought down by that aspect. If it becomes paid, I'd buy the game in a second. We have lot of ideas to implement but first we need to be sure that core gameplay is fun to play and for now - everyone is complaining about F2P model . I have a lot of respect for a dev that can take criticism and also work with it. Lack of gamecenter ruins this game for me.. The leaderboards of the game often wont even load for me and I dont see any reason why not to include gamecenter. The gameplay is nice though!
