Just in case anyone was still wondering what's up with the size stuff: "has to do with how iOS does their textures. The format on android is much less space intensive as there are tons in game." Case closed.
I have (and love) the Horipad ultimate, it holds a charge forever, and is super easy to recharge with any lightning cable you have lying around. I use it for my phone, iPad and apple tv. Lots of folks also love the Steel series nimbus, but I have not tried that one. This game looks fantastic, glad I saw the playthroughs (once again, sick-ass run Andy!) Buying this now...
Ok, this game ROCKS! Seriously so good, good thing too because there haven't been many strong iOS releases in a long time. One request - when you die it's almost like you don't really realize it, just a quick animation stutter and you're back in it. It just feels "cheap." Anything that can be done to make it a bit more apparent you died with a better transition to your next attempt would be appreciated. Nice job on this one!
I double dipped on this one: Android and iOS. First thing I gotta say is if you're playing this without headphones are on a phone without a good pair of front facing speakers, you're missing out. The sound design on offer is absolutely incredible. Absolutely. The game is a better performer on my iPhone, but WOW I get so much more from a quad HD screen with loud and punchy front facing speakers (Alcatel Idol 4S). My only few gripes would be the lack of customization options for directional buttons, the tiny menu buttons (iPhone 6s Plus) and not being able to choose levels from restart. Otherwise, I would double dip again, as this one is a MUST HAVE.
Took high score on about 80% of arcade maps and I believe 100% of the endless medium and hard. #addiction
Another small request. When pressing back after having paused a game (or because a call on iPhone) it would be cool if there was little delay for the game to start again....usually you are hit immediately by some Alien.
To answer my own question: unfortunately it runs with 30 frames. At least on my iPhone5 and Mini2. Bummer because 60 fps are crucial for a game like this.
Yeah, like... when you die, you turn into a bug or swell up and pop. How about, all the remaining bugs swarm you and all that's left are his gun and boots. Something like that would be awesome. Beyond that... this is still one awesome game!
Damn - I updated my iPad last night and now Hori controller doesn't work... that sucks.... is this a known issue + is there a fix? Was working flawlessly yesterday.
With latest firmware Nimbus don't work with this game but works with others. Maybe with Hori is the same
Just picked it up on XB1 too! Just that much better with a working controller (and surround sound). I like it on iPad mini, in fact the buttons are right where I want them.
