    Hello,

I'd like to shed some light on something which I think is very important for the longevity and health of an AppStore.

I started my iOS journey back in 2009 when I bought my first iPod. I wasn't I believer in the iPhone back then thinking it was some gimmick product but that has changed with the release of the iPhone 4 and the capability of Apple devices. Ever since, it became my primary source of entertainment on the go and even at home to a less degree.

I have 2 primary account in two countries with over 6000 paid apps. Some apps probably no longer exist even in my purchase history but hey who's counting.

Which brings me to my main point, games that were pulled from the AppStore from major players like Gameloft, EA, Konami still works on the latest iOS despite being dumped for 5+ years...

I have chosen a couple of games for a specific reason because they all passed the change of time. It was the time when companies were not evil corporates trying to suck every drop of blood from your neck.

I'm so happy to see others remembering Castlevania: Puzzle of the Night. That was one of my first games when I bought my iPod Touch 5. POTN was designed for either iOS 2 or 3, and it's never been broken!

I started with an iPod Touch in 2010, with that EXACT take on iOS, and at this point have around that many apps/games that I've bought over the years, also. Right now I've been using a 12.9" iPad Pro, for just a little bit over a year. Having upgraded from an iPad 2 that I got a few months after the Touch. I'm at the point now, that I rely on my Pro more than my laptop these days. (Which when considering for a LONG time, I wanted nothing whatsoever to do with any Apple device at all, really says something.)

I also definitely have to agree with the Castlevania game. I really hoped for a long time Konami would go back and give the other Castlevania games that are very similar in gameplay mechanics to SotN. Though, with the absolute mess that they've devolved into over the last several years , maybe I dodged a bullet in that case.
