Just bought this today. Left a great review. This game was exactly what I expected it to be, which is a good thing. Look forward to the new content update.
Err... how's the update coming? Blocks Cometh had a lot of momentum for a while so it's maybe a good time for a boost.
They have been active on their twitter feed, I feel the update is gravely imminent. As for now, I've given up cramping my hands trying to fiddle with the game until the update, so I hope it's out soon.

New Features: Landscape: The first thing we wanted to address was the fan response about wanting to play the game in Landscape. This was a big challenge and involved a lot of work. Casual & Arcade modes: These two modes introduce a life system that helps extend Gameplay and bring a new dimension to the game. Bug fixes and optimization. Introducing In App Purchases: It's no surprise that it is a challenge being a small, self funded indie developer. In app purchases helps to fund development and allows us more time to work on our own IP's, bring you updates and continue to bring bigger and better games to the market place. Gamebot Mode(IAP): Play The Blocks Cometh like it's 1989! This mode offers players a complete throw back to the old school handheld consoles. Complete with all new retro art, soundtrack and the custom Gamebot skin. Unlock All Characters(IAP): Play with every character in the game instantly without having to unlock them through gameplay. Anyone know a moderator who would change the title from The Blocks Cometh 1.01 CONTROLS FIXED! -> The Blocks Cometh 1.5 Landscape Support & More! or something like that. Much appreciated guys and thanks for the positive feedback so far.
Since this game already has retina graphics, why isn't is universal? Seems like you're just missing out on sales to iPad owners. Are there any plans for this?
I just picked the game up...looks good but impossible to play in portrait mode for me. So how does one switch to landscape mode? Somehow I am missing it.
Huh, that's weird...only works for me in Arcade mode. Edit: Well now it's working in all the modes. Never mind. I swear I tried that before I posted. Anyway, thanks EMTKiNG.
Yes, I have to agree. My immediate reaction, being one that paid full-price for the game, was that this had derailed... I surely wish the Gamebot mode was unlockable - IAP is just wrong. Still, I managed to play one game in Arcade mode, landscape, and it was great - great job guys. Regards, Paulo Tavares
Is there a video for the new IAP mode. I know it's only 59p but I'd like to see it first. I'm a sucker for retro looking stuff so I'll probably get it anyway.
