I have no patience it seems... I climbed a tree, couldn't figure out how to build, took down my tree, fell asleep in the process, and haven't touched it since.
I've found gold, diamonds, rubies, emeralds, etc. But digging straight down won't help you at all Look for existing caves.
I already have 3, they help a lot. I live by the coast, in my humble castle. I bought the 200 crystal pack and the double-time, with that I've at least 12 hours in the game.
Insulting someone whom you don't know from behind the anonymity of the internet is the reason we are having this conversation. I'll be sure to email every developer for any quibble I might have once I get a new license for Outlook and an enterprise email account.
Why would I speak to him anyway? I didn't get past the spash screen...I install apps all the time. If it doesn't start, I don't know if I'm missing anything worth noting. Good luck with your white-knighting though. Word of advice...don't act like such a (use your imagination) on a public forum.
Good work, NekroWolfen! I like the homestead in the mountains, with the bridge across the ravine! Here's a picture of my character at the South Pole. Note:Once I finish Mass Effect on the Xbox 360, I'll succumb to Minecraft - after watching video gameplay on YouTube. Post-script: After viewing NekroWolfen's images, it has only just occurred to me that you can build a homestead with any material. It took me hours to build my homestead originally because I thought I could only build a homestead from materials from the Woodwork bench! (Slaps head). Time to build a second homestead or maybe a structure of some kind to try and generate some creativity.
And it has changed a lot, I'm taking over the whole mountain lol By the way, my north pole is red and white, while yours is blue and white? I have been wondering for awhile, what would happen if I keep walking would eventually go "around" the world. I'll make a boat a sails by the other side to see if I get to the north pole by the other way.
South Pole. I'm on the other side of the World than you. Note: yet again, I just realised that I failed to have done something obvious. I was completely oblivious to the fact that you can build a craft bench. It has taken me all this time to realise that I haven't built one =/ One round-the-World voyage trip coming right up! Sorry Mass Effect. Looks like another night playing 'The Blockheads'.
So I've meditated and meditated and... Until I got the bar full... AND BOOM, Indian Yellow appeared. What is that?!?!? Also, how do you get oil to make lamps? EDIT: Googled Indian Yellow and it's a kind of tint now, how do you get oil?
There are some stones that looks like sands, and in the middle have black spots, in my world there are so much that I don't even care about it. Look for caves and prepare yourself with food before any expedition, just plan well before going out. Oh my god of course!!! wow this game really is big, I can't wait for future updates adding more stuff!!!
Thanks, I just saw it because I created a 2nd world to see if things carry between worlds, but unfortunately they don't. Only crystals carry over between worlds.
I'm absolutely loving this game. I was playing this afternoon while the rest of the family watched dr who (3 episodes they watched) and I've got two characters so I set them both off walking in opposite directions and I'm sure they were both walking for over an hour and I never found either north or South Pole It's how huge the game world is that's making me like this more than minecraft. I love the exploration.
How does one find apples? I seem to only have pine, orange, mango, cherry, maple, and coconut trees in my world, I have circumnavigated it and still not found a single apple. (hint: you guys should look at the top of the north pole, south pole, sunrise pole, and sunset pole) just make a stone or dirt or wood tower to the top and you will see
I am hungry I am having a horrible time finding/making food. Has anyone found a path to make food, and if so, how? I ate all my flax seed, and oranges... the wood is looking enticing at this point. Thanks, Munkie
Anyone made it around the world yet? I've been to the North Pole, South Pole, and west equator. Takes ages to discover new territory. Almost made my way around though
I got to the sunset pole, but it's in the middle of the water, so I cannot build anything. I'm having a bad time with the game because I hate consumable IAP's and I don't want to buy crystals. I bought the half-timer IAP, but for some things it's not enough, such as having a second character. I'll have to meditate in the real world to see if I continue with this one or finally learn to play Junk Jack, which hasn't got any IAP currency... It's a pitty, because I like The Blockheads a lot
Have you come across anything to kill with a spear? I came across some donkeys but I didn't kill them.. But I assume if I did it would probably be edible after cooking. Maybe plant some trees..? Or just keep walking. There's bound to be good somewhere..unless you got a really crappy automated world. If I remember correctly, you make it in the furnace with sticks. You make a furnace by making a work bench or wood bench can't remember exactly, and upgrade it to level 2.
