Season 2 was just bad. They kind of redeemed themselves by quickly deciding to make season 3 take place in the prison arc.
Season 2 is OK, probably not as good as 1. But I just started watching Season 3 (up to ep 5 now) and it's getting pretty good again
Nothing really happens in season 2 aside from first and last episode. It's a complete bore fest compared to season 1.
Daryl and Merl can die for all I care, they dont exist in the comic. Rick better lose his hand or ill be pissed, it's the single most important event in the comic that changes everything for him.

^^^ thats a tough one The Merv Griffin Show never gets old. One of the classics from the post-Larry David era mmm id probably say 1. The Opposite 2. The Soup Nazi 3. The Marine Biologist 4. The Contest 5. The Virgin although if you asked me in a weeks time it would probably be a different top 5 lol the last 2 seasons have more "slapstick" humour which is fun when watching a one off, however i prefer season 4-7 when watching a few in a row
Its hard coz so many series can go pear shaped in later series. The 1st two series of Battlestar Gallactica were off the hook but after that it slid downhill. Best ever needs consistancy For me its probably a tie between Seinfeld Boardwalk Empire Mad Men Avatar: The Last Airbender Ghost in the Shell: SOC The Wire Breaking Bad Game of Thrones The Good Wife Honorable Mentions Justified The Sopranos The Simpsons South Park
i based mine more off shows that have stood the test of time something like walking dead & game of thrones.....awesome shows but still new hard to call something best tv show ever when its only aired 2 seasons recently just my opinion tho im the same with music/film/art etc i think something has to be around awhile and still looked upon highly to be considered great not just what you are watching/listening to at the moment
^ Couldn't agree with u more If Boardwalk or Game of Thrones go 6+ seasons I could see them topping Sopranos for me. Mad Men season 6 starts April, that's also a top 5 all time for me. Oooh and I just got Afro Samurai in HD, I can't wait to watch it again!
So I'm thinking of watching Dexter. For those who have seen it, what do you think of it? Should I watch it?
It depends on how much of a critic you are. I consider myself a picky critic as I've studied film and Dexter can be pretty corny at times with its unnecessary side-plots and dialogue. Overall it's a decent show but I don't give it the praise I do Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Breaking Bad Like I said before, if Dexter was done by HBO it'd be soooo goooood. It would be deep and dark, playing on his "dark passenger" more.
Watching through Dexter at the minute and up to season 5 very good show as well, most of the DVD stuff I've been watching I looked up because of this thread.
