I was wondering if anyone knew about this. Saw it on the homepage of the iTunes store.

    Special Announcement

    I saw it also.

Could it be that they're opening up the other countries for purchases made there?

    One can only hope!

    iOS 4.2? New iTunes?

Nah, it's probably just the Glee cast singing the top 10 App Store apps' theme songs. :p

Ha, it's my mates birthday tomorrow and mine Wednesday - so yeah, this had better be good!

I'm hoping it's that all songs are dropping to 59p.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Steve Jobs will no longer be part of the Apple family . . .

    One of three things:

    1. iTunes offers a cloud based option. This would make sense as Apple did purchase Lala and shut them down, and rumors were that it was because Apple wanted to offer that same type of service via iTunes and bought Lala to use that tech.

    2. Movie and TV show streaming comes to iTunes in similar fashion to how it has come to Apple TV. This allows ALL Apple devices to get in on that "fun" (OSX run devices as well as iOS run devices). To that same end, Apple may offer a "service" similar to Hulu and Netflix. Hell...I wouldn't put it past Apple to BUY Netflix.

    3. The Beatles catalog available on iTunes. No one cares but Beatles fans, and Steve Jobs is a HUGE Beatles fan.

I'm not getting my hopes up on something major. But I look forward to see what it is.

$100 says it's something I'll find easily forgettable.
