Hey people, So I registered just to post this, seeing that this thread is surprisingly active. There's actually a Polytopia Discord chat community you might want to consider joining. You can do it via this link here: https://discord.gg/YTFTuAq If you're skittish about clicking on the link, you can always Google "Polytopia Reddit" and find another invite there. We have lots of active players and we also have some player-made challenges which you can play and compete for the high scores. If you're bored of the game or want to try something new you should definitely look into this as some of the challenges can feel like a completely different game. The channel was originally created for people to set up multiplayer games once the update containing it was released. Considering the developer confirmed he is working on it right now, it is more relevant than ever. We could always use more players, regardless Cheers, and see you around!
Hands down my favorite RTS game for mobile. It makes me want to go back and play Yuri's Revenge (even though the games are super different)
Have we any idea if online multiplayer will be asynchronous/have an option for async matches? Would be kinda bizarre if it wasn't, but it also wouldn't be the first time
If it isnt I shall lose all my faith in existence and dedicate my life to finding a way to de-orbit the Earth into the Sun.
Aw don't do that... but if you do, please make it happen at nighttime because during the day the sun is way too hot.
Late to the party, but this seems to be grabbing me even though I'm long past the Civ days. Is there a wiki, developer forum or what not? Someone mentioned a discord, but I'm not *that* hooked that I want to chat with people about the game. Thats another level
There IS a wiki with excellent info, but a really disorganized group of editors -- I get the feeling they're all middle schoolers. I got it into my head a while ago to clean it up, but never got past the main page (which IS a lot prettier, I have to admit -- with one of my cities as the main image, no less!). I'm hoping a growing community can really help the wiki fulfill its potential as well.
