Pretty sure it won't, and that's why I bought it even with the knowledge that achievements won't sync. The achievement whore in me is crying though
It won't ruin the experience..but it might lessen it slightly! Achievements provide a sense of progression and challenge as you proceed through the game. They can also be rather amusing and come as pleasant surprises when you least expect them to pop up. Ultimately, I wouldn't want to miss out on anything any game has to offer and this of course includes something as minor as the achievements.
Agreed 100%. Look at consoles, especially the 360, achievements are actually a big deal. Personally, I have a ADD-I type personality and I won't want to replay the game when I'm done, but I'm a completionist and want my achievements unlocked. I have put playing the game on hold due to this. I also sent an email through inXile's support page.

If I may be an old fart for a moment, I understand this attitude but it also makes me despair a little for the future of gaming . Back in the day, beating a game was it's own reward. Now it seems that everything has to be accompanied by a silly badge that has a presence in the "social" sphere -- otherwise it has no value. It's like we are 6 year olds getting gold stars from Mrs. Martinez. And yes, I did walk 10 miles to school uphill both ways through a hurricane .
Yeah same here, I am glad I picked it up. What chapter are you? I am on Greenland plains where I have to pick an Axe (chapter 8 I guess). Anyway, hope this game never comes to $.99 sale just like GOF2. BTW, did they ever reply back to your email about the fix?

Haha yeah I see your point, but I still love me some achievements. It's not a deal breaker by any means if a good game doesn't have them. I usually do achievements for personal satisfaction. Plus like I said ADD-I personality; I get bored easily. Yup, easily bored workaholic who sometimes needs the added incentive. Also, I like to brag as well. There's nothing wrong with some friendly competition. I mean, I sometimes still play games on my computer that don't have achievements, but they offer me a different type of experience. I guess I would be at the end of the first chapter. I slowed down playing heavily after I learned my achievements weren't unlocking. So, I've been playing DZLS and IB2. I'm also finishing up Mage Gauntlet. According to their website they should email me back by the end of tomorrow. Here! It makes sense, they're following the Aralon marketing formula.
Has anyone else beaten the First tower yet? I was given this new ability with the tree guy but summoning him brings the game to like 1-2 frames per seconds. It's so bad that my game froze once. I hope others have addressed this because it's such a good game and a great power I want to use it but I hate worrying about it freeze.
I'm on the first tower. So far none of the reviews have brought up any technical issues, so it could possibly be a random glitch. Hopefully I'll get to the top tonight and confirm.
It's definitely a glitch because I beat all three towers and didn't see any glitch. I am about to go to the dangeons to get the axe. I am loving this game so far.
Well maybe none of the reviewers made it there But expect lag during the fight on the top of that tower as well not only while it's part of your inventory. It was actually easier to beat because of the lag but it wasn't pretty.
I have a claymore, but cannot pick it above the broadsword. I can highlight thr claymore gold, go back, go back in again and it is deselected again..
Did you ever choose the Yield Two-Handed weapon skill When you started the game or when you leveled up? It's a silly question but I didn't realize that either with my flail. Also I am into the snow mountains now and there is a boatload of slow down for the game. Especially with smoke effects. But I have 3 party members and fighting giant monsters like 10 things on screen at once and it chugs Even still I swear I forget I'm playing on my iPhone sometimes this game is wicked. I wonder how many people have actually played through into hours 8-9 because there is just lots of slowdown and forget about using the Tree Roots power thing the game will just freeze sometimes.
