Agree on Eragon: the first book was okay, the second was worse enough that I did not read the third one :)
Cannot remember any hippie Elves in there, though.
Just thought both the story and the writing were much worse and boring in the second book.

But hey, hippie treehugger "we all love Mother Nature" Elves is cliche enough that it could fit :p
Only good example of those I ever saw were the "eco-terrorist" Elves in a MUD I played a few years back.

And yes, will give Black Dawn a shot, see if I like it as much as SW.

    Also, @Legendary_Slayer:
We can play some R:M practice matches, you can send direct invites to people on your friend list. You won't get XP for those, though.

I have too. It's okay in my opinion...
Have you read The Gatekeepers series? Four boys and a girl try to save the world...
And have any of you got black dawn or Siegecraft TD.

Any of you read Ender's Game seires and The companion novels it and the prequels? They are AMAZING! On Eragon, I did exactly what Sheinfell did with the series.

Didn't know of the Gatekeepers. Just looked them up, could be interesting.
If I stumble across them, I might give them a try.

Wasn't interested in Siegecraft TD so far, a bit tired of the genre.
And got so much other stuff to play (didn't even buy X-COM yet because my backlist is so long) I think with Black Dawn I'll wait for some impressions.

Ender series is great. The two I read so far (Ender's Game & Ender's Shadow) were a very interesting read. Got th rest of the series on my ever-growing backlist.

I've never heard of the GateKeepers, but it sounds pretty cool, I'll have to read them sometime.

I've read Ender's Game- it's a great book, but I haven't read any of the others in the series:(

I haven't gotten Black Dawn because apperantly it requires a gyroscope. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a gyroscope the thing that senses the motion of a device? i.e. like tilting to steer in a racing game.

Yeah. A gyroscope is basically a ball in a sensor-coated sphere. It figures out where 'down' is based on earths gravitational pull.

Most idevice a have it, though. What are you playing on again?

Well the rest of the books are more... Not very sci fi, the enders game ones are on an alien planet and deals with interactions and... Its hard to explain. Enders shadow books are about government on earth and there is a secret about Bean...:(

3rd gen iPod. But it definitely has something like a gyroscope, because it plays lots of games that are tilt-based.

I think tilt games use an accelerometer not a gyroscope... Anyway im guessing it's just a way to limit people who can't run this game like how some games require iOS 5+.

Its pretty fun, but the leveling is a bit wierd. If your weapon is two levels lower than the enemy, damage is reduced.

I personally wasn't very impressed with the first rendition (which I still have installed, surprisingly enough), and don't really want to spend money on something I don't enjoy.

However, how much is it? Three dollars? It's barely anything, I guess. If you guys are all migrating to it, then why not?

You can get it for free I believe if you bought the first one. Just email Freyr and they might send you a promo code.
There's still mc4 if any of you still play it. And block fortress will have multiplayer in the future. Also there's order and chaos but everyone would be at different places.
