The moment we play counterstrike is the moment you will see the ultimate knife-noob who can't aim a rifle to save his life =____=
You're not missing much if you don't have SAS- it's a top-down shooter(like BTHD) with pretty crazy prices on equipment. It's fun, but gets kind of boring. We should meet up and go questing or something in Order and Chaos. Which server are you on?
So you're that guy then? The guy who will drop his AK in CT spawn, then tries to jumpknife them all? I love games with those people. It gives me a good laugh EDIT: just deleted some stuff and reinstalled NOVA3, and then realized it reset all my progress -_- Anyone want to flag glitch to grind some XP?
I'll keep the rifle on me if I have to, but my aim's bad enough to guarantee a loss in most firefights. As a result, I have a tendency to try sneaking up to people and taking them out in a single melee strike if possible (HEAVILY exploited tactic in CoD when I'm forced to play)...
That's the server I'm in. I haven't been playing it much, so you'll probably catch up to me fast. My warrior is only 31. You will be happy you picked the ranger-sneaking is the second best thing for avoiding pvpers(having an escort of max levels is the first) not to mention getting past enemies. Also, escape practically replaces a mount.
Geez, kids these days Makes me wonder how come you don't know Counterstrike. Even I have heard of it, and I stopped playing PC games like 10 years ago. And am not too interested in shooters. --- On an unrelated note: Testing for Ravenmark:Mercenaries is going well. If you like turnbased tactics games, you will love this. The matches are small skirmishes, with ~10 units on each side. No mass craziness with 100+ units like in Starcraft or such. Fantasy-themed, the story builds on the events in Ravenmark:SoE and starts a few years after those. You can get a glimpse here: http://mercs.ravenmark-saga.com/ And go to the main page too, and check out the "Travelling Bard". The effort they put into world building is awe-inspiring.
I honestly don't know, but would guess 6 weeks away at least. Thread here says "planned for Summer 2013" : http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=182491
Did any of you pick up Warhammer Quest yet? I just started playing (cannot connect to Ravenmark servers here ) and my first impression is very good.
hey! knifing in COD actually takes more skill than using a gun. you have to know the map very well, avoid being seen, and avoid areas where most shooting and killing happens. I usually go knife-only search and destroy My favorite weapons are knives and sniperifles, hence why I bought the Nerf longshot and longstrike guns
Pfffttt.... If knifing in COD takes "skill", try knifing in Battlefield or CounterStrike. In my opinion, knifing only takes skill when it is not a LOLINSTAWIN button.
In CoD, knives resemble the Trinity from Star Warfare (but with less of an effective range) -- if you let an opponent get that close to you, then you're pretty much doomed due to its close-range dominance. In CounterStrike, it's got a whole different sort of usage entirely -- you don't use it UNLESS you're trying to humiliate your victim for not checking their back more often... The number of times I've seen classmates rage when they got knifed while playing CS during lunch breaks at school...can't say I ever played myself, but the reactions never failed to amuse me
