First Impressions: Definitely a Borderlands clone. Positives: haven't found anything striking so far will keep looking. Negatives: Wont let me use my name T_T. Only fits ThePowerofLav The iPhone control scheme has the fire button waayy too high. It's almost in the center of the screen, with no way to change it. Havent found any multiplayer yet EDIT: it's still effectively in beta, so if you play through the first mission NOW, you get 100 mithril.
I'm out of $ in itunes atm, so I guess I'll miss the beta, but in the game desription it said 4 player co-op with pvp coming next update. All the impressions I read in the Black Dawn forum are good- this might be the mp game we're looking for.
Anyone ever played "Gun Bros" and have an opinion on how that game is? There's apparently a sequel now -- I'm told that the original was quite a good co-op type game, so perhaps that's something we may want to look at as a collective group if anyone can vouch for it?
I haven't played the sequel- my device is to outdated but the first was ok. The gameplay itself was fun, but without spending IAPs the game is a pretty major grind. Coop is only 2 player if I remember correctly- So to sum it up, the first was pretty fun( if you can get past the freemium aspects). The second looks better, but it only supports newer devices, so not everyone would be able to play.
It's a pretty fun game, especially if playing with someone in the same room as you. Unfortunately, it is a Glu game, so the IAP is plentiful and shoved in your face a lot.
Yep, I have. The first one was fun during the beginning. It's really IAP heavy, but I grinded to get the best gear.
Don't worry, just mention any and all suggestions you can think of I'll get around to taking a look at them at some point, but I'm not sure how long I'd stick around for -- there are a ton of games I put down after only playing for an hour or two.
How about N.Y. Zombies 2 for a mp game? I just picked it up when it went free, but it seems pretty good so far. I haven't tried the mp yet, but it's 3 players according to the description.
Me and Superion have it, not sure about anyone else.... I could possibly work on getting a server up, but exams are coming up, so I will be pressed for time... I am still dreaming about all of us getting on Planetside 2 and taking bases together, but that requires everyone have a semi-decent PC an Internet connection...
