I can only be considerate once or twice, they've been doing the same thing over the last 2 years. They don't deserve any consideration for pulling the same crap again and again infact I wish theh would run of of buisness already and let indies run the show. The simple thing is that small devs of Oceanhorn were not able to put a quality game but they also polished it,the simple fact it runs at 60fps on my 5s.If we compare a similar game say Cap Am it looks worse, runs worse, has online and above all plays worse and has terrible bugs, there's a limit to excuses and they unfortunately crossed that a long time ago.
That's a completely different game with different developers. Last time I checked Oceanhorn had been out for a long while now, which is more than enough time to iron out bugs. Most of Gameloft's titles are 3D and have large worlds. Those are really hard to make and Gameloft's team has to take in the feelings of all it's customers and consider ALL of them. That's not an easy thing to do and once again, you compare TASM 2 with a game like Oceanhorn.
Not to mention the fact that GL has a number of studios around the globe. Can't expect each branch to be of the same standard as all the rest especially if you were to compare them to indie developers which I don't think has the cash to buy the license and most of them aren't as good as you may think. If GL run out of business who is going to pay the employees? Certainly not the same person who hasn't bought the game but has rant on and on as if he has spent $5 for this game. You get to be angry to a point mate. If, say, you saw a bloke eating a cheeseburger, you don't get to whinge at the proprietor even if you had a bite of the same cheeseburger unless you have paid for it. Again, it's up to those who have paid for it to rant all they want and the simple fact that you're in the minority who actually rant about this particular game then I am willing to bet that it's you who is the problem. Not to say that GL is right, they ought to have put a disclaimer from the day dot about the constant connection thing and yes they should've polished the game more before releasing it to the public but their representatives have said that they are going to do something about it so let's just wait and see if they are going to make good on their promise, ok? Another thing, you got burnt from buying cap america, if you had the patience to wait up and read reviews about it I wonder if you'd be as willing to buy it as you did and as angry as you are right now. Understand how the business works first. It helps you to put things in perspective. Here I am whinging because you are getting out of order.
What's the best camera settings? My camera settings are either too slow or jumping all over the place. I can't seem to make it smooth especially while swinging. There don't seem to be any settings for controls?
Not too sure about the best camera setting since the camera itself is animated and the only setting for control is the button placement setting. This second movie is riddled with disappointment starting from the movie which is a combination of batman forever and spiderman 3 and the PC game which does improve on the first game a bit but with subpar graphics (even the first looks better). Surprisingly enough, this mobile game is not that disappointing although it is still as repetitive as the first one. Bring on better updates Gameloft! Give us one with better game mechanics and an offline mode won't hurt.
Just saying, after playing the game some more it's actually really enjoyable! The graphics are pretty nice on my 5S and I do not experience frame rate issues ! Even when playing Music! The internet connection is annoying but I personally think it is worth it!
Glad to hear you both are enjoying it! I know Kyle and I frequent this thread so we're always looking for your comments. This thread has been really great for both of us since TASM2 launched!
By the way, I noticed that, to unlock three of the alternate costumes, people will need to either pay for the IAPs or collect a certain number of Points specific to each suit. How are those points earned? Are they available during gameplay, or are there other less obvious mechanics?
If it's taking out the constant connection, let me know. I'm still waiting for that before I buy this.
I made the poor decision of getting this game and playing it. It looks good, but the open world part is a bit of lie, and the controls are not my favorite.
Sorry I missed this initially, these points are earned by participating in Mysterio's Arena. Depending on where you place, you'll be eligible to earn different rewards and those points are rewarded for top finishers
I'm stuck at chapter 2 where I'm chasing a guy in a helicopter and have to swing through the rings. The controls and camera don't help but even if I go through the rings at some point the mission stops and tells me Spider-Man failed. What do I need to do? Anyone know? Keep failing this mission.
What's going on with the suits in the shop at the moment? The Future Foundation costume was added a few days ago for $4.99 but it's appearance and stats are the same as the standard suit. The Ultimate Spider-Man suit is on sale for $1.99, which is kinda' cool, but the Iron Spider suit is no longer visible.
