Whoa I got a major problem here. I finally took the time to transfer everything from itunes (60gb+) from my pc to my new macbook pro. Here's the issue: when I go to the apps section under my ipod, everything is grayed out until I check the sync apps box. However, then I get a warning that it will replace my ipod apps with my current library. Then I click continue...and I see my itunes trying to sync 600+ apps onto my ipod, my entire library. I definitely don't want to do this as this will delete all my saves/scores for the 200 or so games I have on my ipod at the moment. I have tried transferring purchases, authorizing the computer, and clicking sync ipod. Thank you so much if you took the time to read this and if you can offer help.
Transferring purchases should've done it. This is why ive never synced any of my hundreds of apps off of my iPad to my pc. It takes forever and it rarely works right. I mean what's the point of being able to download on your device and iTunes seperately when they get wiped out when you sync. I'm not sure what you should do, besides make a backup and try syncing.
The thing is that it's a new computer so it doesn't recognize the device. Strangely it still doesn't after I've authorized the computer. I can't sync it since it wants me to sync every single one my apps onto the ipod . Oh, hmm I just realized it's not trying to sync my whole library. It's just trying to sync all my apps but not in folder form, which causes the games to exceed the maximum pages by 40 apps..ah damn..it's gonna be a bitch sorting them back into folders, but okay it's not too big of a problem. Issue resolved xD.
