Congrats! You got the one with the most realistic physics, period. And thanks Not so much anymore, Touchgrind is still doing very well.
No I meant since it's published by another company, what percentage do you get from each purchase? After Apple takes the 30% of course.
Well, all of it. Long story short, Carl started Codify AB and did the very first version of Labyrinth. This was about 2 years ago, before the App Store even existed. Later on, he and Andreas started Illusion Labs together. This was also before the App Store launched. I then joined forces and the first I did was improve Labyrinth (added sounds and all sorts of improvements) and then launched it the same day the App Store launched (which is why some like to refer to it as the original labyrinth game, the are several clones now). We have tried to transfer Labyrinth from Codify to Illusion Labs on the App Store, but according to Apple it's simply not possible
We haven't announced what it is yet, it's too early! We don't want the competitors stealing our ideas before we get the game out, then they can say "we were first!" even though it wasn't their idea. You get the picture. We'll announce it in a couple of weeks, if all goes well But yeah, the theme is sort of vintage 70's.
Oh I see. Interesting history, enjoy my $2.00 or so I played the lites of all of the knockoffs, and they lack a certain something, idk what though.
Yeah some have more features (which isn't always a good thing), and some look nicer, but we nailed the physics. It's a fine line between 'good' and 'real'.
