Just wanted to say thank you to the hard working devs who post free trial codes here, whether your games rock or not. A lot of people snag codes w/o being considerate and posting the ones they took, so THEY thank you also. Being unemployed, sometimes these promos mean a new game I've been otherwise unable to buy for a couple weeks so that makes me feel great. Many who benefit from the codes are possibly in the same scenario. Anyway, thanks again for your hard work and freebies, we love em! Thanks for your generosity and thanks to TA for making this place possible.
Hear, hear! I second those same exact sentiments! Many thanks to the group that runs and administers this site, the developers for their generosity with promo codes and acting on feedback as well as our fellow forum members whose participation and feedback makes this site such a success! I agree with the frustration of people taking codes and never even letting others know but I strongly suspect they are people passing through who are not even members of this site!
Thanks to everyone as well. I joined TA initially because I wanted to use some codes and felt it was wrong to lurk while taking them. Now I review, leave constructive feedback, and participate on the site. I really appreciate the promo codes, the contests, the developer involvement, and community members.
This happens all the time, and we call them Lurkers here. That's why I always say to anyone who will listen, is to make them PM's only! That way, only the appreciative TA members get them, which more times than not means we will review on itunes for them, hence helping the devs make their sales! IMO that's the ONLY way they should be given out!
