Bait and switch app. Started off as no annual fees, now they do charge. Old customers are supposed to be grandfathered in, but for some reason my ipod didn't catch, and expires in March. I've emailed Ting and they didn't bother to reply. Went back to TextFree, it's slower and has txt ads but at least they're reputable.
I love this app so much! I've never not received a text from someone, it's blazing fast. I like having the @textnow.me address more than another number. It's a lot easier just putting in the email address than giving someone 2 numbers, 1 for talk and 1 for text. The new update has iPad support, hopefully it will be out soon! Also supports fast app switching!
