I just got this yesterday because I was tired of TextFree taking forever to load, shutting down music that was playing (wtf?), and the occasional ad for their pic messaging app. Mission accomplished on all 3 points, thanks.
I might have to check it out...If I knew how to get my money back from text free unlimited. Of course they use everything textfree does!
If you do not have this app yet download it now! I guarantee you will love this app more than Textfree! Sends and receives messages 10x faster. Never had a single problem with notifications on this app. Bug FREE! $4.99 with no yearly fee!! Constant updates, the dev interacts with the community. Honestly you couldn't make a smarter choice than to download Textnow!
If Pinger doesn't give you your money back, I would contact iTunes customer support and complain to them how Textfree doesn't work as advertised. I heard people were successful in getting their money back (or at least as iTunes credit).

I don't like the name change and email change. I also don't like the font they used for the icon... looks less slick. But it's a nice app, still. XD

New screenshots for the next update from http://blog.enflick.com/ This app keeps getting better and better! The text is bigger and the keyboard has changed! If you don't have this I suggest you buy it, I hope the update comes out soon!

If anyone still doesn't have this app, get it! By far the best texting app period. I dumped the iPhone unlimited texting plan for this. I've had this app since day 1 when it was released and only 1 day did Enflick have server problems. Doesn't matter if your on Edge/3G/WiFi every message is sent and received fast! Check it out!!
